Property Details

Beautiful 3br/2ba Chalet within walking distance to Big Bear City Airport. Watch planes take off and land from the spacious deck in the 6 person Jacuzzi. This Chalet sleeps 8 and has 2 kings, 1 queen and a queen sofa sleeper. And YES, your pet is welcome upon approval. We have a large fenced yard to accomodate kids and pets.

Enjoy movies in Surround Sound on the 50” HDTV while sitting in front of the large woodburning/gas fireplace. The home is fully equipped and includes a 30” gas grill BBQ plus a washer and dryer in the 2 car garage. There are plenty of games for the kids and adults, plus an extensive DVD library. Each bedroom is appointed with a flat panel TV and DVD player. Bring your laptop, Wi-Fi avaiable.

No need to worry about bringing anything other than food to stock the fridgerator. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and firewood are all provided.

This cabin is managed by the owner, so there is no need to worry about late night check ins. You check right in at the cabin.

Rental Policy

1. This is a NON SMOKING cabin. If you smoke inside the property you may lose your deposit. When smoking outdoors please DO NOT throw your cigarette butts on the property!
2. PETS are permitted in the cabin only with prior approval. All pets must be declared on the rental application booking form. All pets must be leashes at all times except when in the fenced yard. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra fees cleaning fees. All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or a similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises.
3. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A damage/reservation deposit of $500 is required on a credit card. This information must be received immediately in order to book the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT charged; however, it is held and fully released within (7) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
a. No damage is done to cabin or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers outside and soiled dishes are washed and put away (minimum fee of $25 will be charged if this is not done)
d. All keys are left in the lock box and cabin is left locked.
e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
f. No linens are lost or damaged.
g. NO Early check-in or late check out.
4. PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% is due now. The advance payments will be applied toward the cabin rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. If rental begins in less than 30 days, entire balance is due in full.
5. CANCELLATIONS – Vacation properties are often booked many months in advance to ensure the property will be held for your use. When the property is being held for you, it obviously cannot be rented to someone else. Therefore like many cruises, tour packages and airline tickets, when booking and reserving a vacation rental home, you will usually need to make a full or partial payment upfront in order to reserve the property. According to our contract all bookings are non-refundable. In the event you need to cancel or change your reservation please do so within a timely manner. It is in your best interest to contact us immediately as you will receive a credit for any of the days that we rebook. If only a portion of your reservation is rebooked, then you will be issued a credit for that amount and not the full amount of your booking. Credits must be used within 1 year of cancellation. Early departure does not warrant any refund of any monies received, rent, fees, or taxes. Refundable Deposits will be returned in full for cancellations. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately.
6. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel ninety (90) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least sixty (60) days prior to check-in. Cancellation policy above in number six (6) applies.
7. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests per cabin is limited to eight (8) persons. An additional charge or $100.00 per person per night for guests in addition to eight (8) will be assessed.
8. This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. (3 to 4 night minimum during Holidays)
9. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional rate.
10. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
11. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
12. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
13. PARKING – Parking is limited to two (2) full size vehicles in the driveway, or three (3) small size vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Please keep in mind that during the snow season, snow accumulation may only allow for 2 vehicles to be parked in the driveway. Parking on the road is not permitted during the winter months, due to snow plowing. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees and is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
14. Hot Tub/Jacuzzi – No children under the age of 10 permitted in hot tub at any time. When using the hot tub, remember there is certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Please, DO NOT USE GLASS CUPS OR BOTTLES IN THE HOT TUB. The hot tub will be clean and sanitized prior to your arrival, including chemicals. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS, they will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. PLEASE TURN TO TEMPERATURE DOWN TO 90 WHEN NOT IN USE.
15. STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms unless all three routes into Big Bear are closed. Please be aware that mountain roads can be curvy and steep. The roads into Big Bear are well maintained, however we do not refund due to road conditions. During winter months you are required to travel with chains. Even if you have all wheel drive vehicles you may be inspected by the CHP or local Sheriff’s Dept. for chains.
16. TRAVEL INSURANCE - We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details.
