Property Description

All cottages (except #3) have 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen and living room. Cottages 1, 2, and 4 will sleep up to 7 guests; Cottage 3 will sleep up to 4, and Cottage 6 will sleep up to 6 guests. #6 has a fireplace, all others baseboard heaters.

If you enjoy peace and serenity, beautiful scenery, hiking, bird-watching, whale-watching, boating, or just watching the boats go by, East Point Ocean Cottages is the place for you.

Our resort offers a sandy beaches, a boat launch, a playground for children, a public barbecue area, and forest trails that are suitable for hiking or walking.

We are pet and children friendly, and love to accommodate families, couples of all ages, and friends of all description.

We have five rustic cottages on six lowbank waterfront acres, with our own forty acres of nothing but forests and trails across the road. We are located next to Lighthouse Park, which has the best orca whale-watching in the world, passing by within two metres at times! We offer lots of space, wildlife, and world-class scenery in comfortable accommodation.

Each cottage has its own private deck, which can range from 25 to 60 feet away from the water, and each is sited to take advantage of a beautiful view across Tumbo Channel and Georgia Strait. Each cottage has either one or two bedrooms, living room, and full kitchen and bathroom. Excellent housekeepers maintain the cottages’ cleanliness on a weekly basis.

Our cottages are located right on the edge of white sand/shell beaches. At low tide all along our beach and Lighthouse Park beach, which are connected, gorgeous sandstone formations can be seen.
Whales make their way down Tumbo Channel, between Tumbo Island and our beach, when the salmon make their way through to get to the river.

Although Saturna Island is the most rural of the Southern Gulf Islands, it offers scenic boat charters and guided kayak rentals, two general stores, a winery with tastings, a pub, a gourmet restaurant, art galleries, and free tennis courts.

Enjoy beautiful hiking pretty much anywhere; Saturna is 60% National Park Reserve.

Rental Policy

Deposits for stay by cheque or money order only; cancellations 60 DAYS prior to your stay to get your deposit back.

Open for the year March 1, closed November 15. 2-night minimum stay; long weekends 3 night minimum; and summer 1 week minimum stay.
