Property Description

Our beautiful, traditional ‘longere’ is set in a large tranquil garden and has been restored to the highest modern standards. Sleeps 6/7 including child's bed or cot. All linen and towels are provided

Property Details

The cottage is just 3 km from the pretty village of Gouarec, where the river Blavet meets the Nantes-Brest Canal. The village has all amenities: a supermarket, bank, post office, pharmacy and restaurant.

Close by is the Abbey of Bon Repos situated on the side of the canal, this picturesque, historic, Cistercian monastery is a delightful picnic spot and on Sunday mornings has a small produce and craft market which is well worth a visit. Each summer it hosts the largest Son et Lumiere in the area. In the grounds of the abbey is one of our favourite restaurants. The canal towpath is perfect for walking or cycling, winter and summer.

Five minutes drive by car is the Lac du Guerledan, the largest lake in Brittany with safe beaches, watersport facilities, cafes & restaurants and an excellent outdoor centre with over 10 kms of cycle track at Mur de Bretagne.

Arrival Times

We ask guests to arrive after 4pm and depart before 12noon to allow as time to clean. Other arrangements can be made on request

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

We offer a short stay package, minimum booking for three days from $275, then $50 per night there after.
