Want the best Massanutten has to offer? You must try the Grey Rocks Lodge, Massanutten’s newest, most dramatic, and exclusive private lodging. Nestled on a natural rock overlook high above the ski resort, Grey Rocks is the highest property available for rent at Massanutten. This 3700 square foot house boasts views of the slopes that are unrivalled anywhere on the mountain. The spacious chalet design allows for excellent entertaining in the great room, loft, and lower level, while providing private rooms for up to five couples. A welcoming front porch with porch swings and a magnificent two level deck with hot tub facing the slopes will provide you with plenty of room to admire nature’s beauty and skiers traversing Massanutten's many slopes.

Grey Rocks Lodge has 5 total bedrooms (four with queen size beds, and one with a set of two sturdy bunk beds). Each bedroom has a spectacular view of the slopes. The 3rd floor has two queen bedrooms, a full bath, and a cozy TV/sitting area that offers incredible views. The main level has a queen master bedroom with a large bath featuring a whirlpool tub, separate shower stall, and two vanities. There is a powder room and laundry room just inside the front door. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Four kids can eat at the kitchen counter. The kitchen opens into the 8 person dining room and great room. The main great room features a fantasticly massive stone (gas) fireplace, luxurious leather seating, a TV and a 30 foot wall of windows facing the slopes. The lower level features two more bedrooms, another great room full of windows, a pool table room, and a huge bath featuring a large tub and separate shower.

You can find as much to do as you want at Grey Rocks Lodge. You can hike up the mountain to the Peak in 20 minutes and enjoy a 50 mile view of the Shenandoah Valley. You can ski all day and all night. You can play golf at the resort or at 2-3 other courses within 15 minute drives. Or you can just sit on the porch overlooking the slopes, and listen to the stream below as it winds it's way down the mountain. The choice is yours at Grey Rocks Lodge.
