La Petite Rose House is a 1 bedroom Stone Farmhouse, built in the mid 1700s. It has a traditional large fireplace in the livingroom and sofa sleeper. The house is equipped with TV, DVD, CD, Wireless internet access. Adjacent is the fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and small appliances. The 1 bedroom has large windows for lots of light and views of the gardens and countryside. Ensuite bathroom has shower.

Outside your gite is the pool with sundeck, lounge chairs, dining terrace, BBQ, all enjoying the magnificent view. The property offers, ping-pong, badminton/volleyball, hammocks, crocket, children’s play area with swing set, and open space to run.

It is a great bicycling and walking area with rolling hillsides and gorgeous forest and valley views. All services are within walking distance down a tranquil country lane past grazing cows: 1 km to boulangerie, grocery store, and bank. 2 km to tabac, post office, and the office of tourism. 2.5km to a swimming lake.

Only a short drive to famous historic, prehistoric, tourist sites: grottes (caves), Troglodyte sites, Bastille towns, Castles, Lascaux cave is 20 min.

Enjoy sports in the area: swimming, hiking, biking, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, croquet; 1 km: basketball, tennis, soccer, bocce, canoeing, fishing. Nearby are horseback riding and golf.

Experience the renowned food in the Perigord: black truffles, canard, pate de fois gras, cepes, with many good restaurants in the area. Wine regions of Bergerac & Bordeaux are only 1 to 1.5 hours.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Weekly rentals, saturday to saturday. Nightly rates available in off season. Shorter stays and different arrival day available in low season. security deposit of 200 euros per week.
