The property consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom and shower room. There is a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, as well as a luxuriously appointed lounge leading onto the balcony which overlooks the pool, great for just chillin' out, with a book.
The condominium consists of 5 apartments, and is situated in an established area only a 2 minute walk from a park with childrens area, bistro, bar, restaurants,(good low cost food and lively at the weekend), souvenir shop, supermarket (small but well stocked). The beach is a 30 minute walk away, as is the Marina. The apartment has many personal touches as it it used on a regular basis by the owners, including resident guard seagulls, Tom, Dick and Harry, as well as the Mask!
Bedroom 1 and 2 both with 2 wide single beds, walk-in wardrobe, loads of hanging space, large 3 draw chest of drawers, mirror, and combination safe.
Shower room has shower, and toilet, mirror, towel rail, and shaver point. Bathroom has the foregoing plus vanity unit, scales and bath.
Comprehensively equipped kitchen has electric oven, gas hob, combination grill oven microwave, 4 slice toaster, catering style flat plate sandwich toaster, compression orange juice squeezer, kettle, fridge freezer, plus knife set, and selection of pans. Washing Machine.
Hall, is supplied with a mini drawer unit where Tom, Dick, and Harry stand guard.
Lounge is fitted with large faux suede L shaped sofa bed with 4' 0 sprung mattress bed, as well as a dining table and 6 chairs, side table with lamp, up-lighter and reading lamp, TV unit, TV, and DVD. In the centre of the room is a coffee table.
Towels, hand towels and flannels are included, and are changed twice a week. The linen is changed weekly but can be changed more often if required for a small extra charge.
The apartment is fitted with air-conditioning (available for a small extra charge) and is suitable for up to 6 adults.
The shared gardens are laid to lawn around the building and pool, there are 2 loungers supplied in the apartment, as well as foam beach mats. The balcony has a shaded drying area, as well as a seating area with 4 chairs, table and umbrella. The pool is approximately 30' long, and is maintained by the condominium owner.
The apartment is surrounded by 3 golf courses;- Laguna, Old Course, and Pinhal, all within walking distance or with a 10 minute drive another 3;- Millenium, Vila Sol, and the Golf Academy which includes a driving range.
The beach is a 30 minute walk, through a nature reserve, to Falesia beach, which is a quiet stretch of golden sand, with a cafe and restaurant, there are a considerable number of covered parking spaces. The town of Vilamoura offers a range of activities from golf to deep sea fishing, as well as some exclusive shopping, and huge range of restaurants.
The local airport is Faro, which is well served by budget and scheduled airlines from all over the UK. The airport is a 20 minute drive away, although there are the options of taxi, bus, or car hire at the airport. Car hire is not considered essential as the local services are so close, however one will be required to go on excursions, or alternatively by coach from the local tour company based in the adjacent complex.
Cabo Vincente, the most westerly point of Portugal is 90 kilometres away by road. 300 kilometers by toll motorway to Lisbon. Spain is only 75 Kilometres away. The nearest towns are Quateria, and Albufeira, which both offer beaches, bars, and nightime entertainment if required.
The Algarve is many things to different people from a bucket and spade beach holiday, to a fishing and watersports holiday based at Vilamoura Marina, with golf, walking, cycling, or visiting historical sites. There really is something to suit all tastes. The local nature reserve has a fantastic range of birdlife including several rare varieties.
30% non refundable deposit at time of confimation, balance 30 days before occupation. All bookings to be confirmed in writing, fax, or e-mail. There is a 150 Euro deposit towards damages and breakages, which is refundable 7 days after return. Any damages or missing items will be the responsibility of the hirer.
Saturdays is the usual check in day, after 17.00 hrs, check out 10.00 hrs. We will try to accommodate different time requests wherever possible, but these may incurr additional rental costs.
The property is suitable for couples, and families. We do not accept groups under age of 23, as the area is quiet residential. Minimum rental is 4 days. Breakages/losses deposit required.
