Property Details

The "Honeymoon Queen" cabin features a hot tub on a private deck with a privacy fence all the way around it. The bathroom features a custom tile shower for two. Just set the temperature, and turn on the shower heads and body sprays for a truly invigorating experience. Step out of the shower onto the heated tile floor and grab a fluffy warm towel off the towel warmer.

You can enjoy romantic music playing on our state of the art entertainment system. A selection of romantic CD's is available for your enjoyment. There is a gas log fireplace for cozy romantic evenings. The perfect place to relax, unwind, and fall in love all over again.

The Honeymoon Queen cabin is one of five luxury log cabins that you can choose from at the Golden Anchor (3 honeymoon cabins, 2 family cabins). If you prefer a king size bed for your romantic getaway... then you may want to choose our "Honeymoon King" cabin. Honeymoon King has the exact same floor plan and amenities as "Honeymoon Queen"... the only differance is that Honeymoon King features a king size bed versus the queen size bed in Honeymoon Queen.

The Golden Anchor Restaurant and Luxury Log Cabins are located two miles south of Canaan Valley Resort (golf, tennis, swimming, downhill skiing, ice skating in winter). Located four miles south of Timberline Resort and Whitegrass (downhill skiing, inter-tubing, snowboarding, cross country skiing). Also close to hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, etc. in the area. Located 20 minutes from Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Seneca Caverns, Smoke Hole Caverns.

Rental Policies

We require a deposit of 1/2 the total stay to hold a cabin, with the balance due at check-in.

Cancellation Policy:
With a 30 day notice of cancellation, your deposit is refunded in full. If we receive a cancellation notice within 30 days of your rental, there is a chance that you will lose your deposit. As soon as we receive a notice of cancellation, we immediately try to re-rent the cabin. If we are successful, then your refund is issued in full. If we are unable to re-rent the cabin, your deposit is forfeited. The more notice we are given, the better chance we have of re-renting the cabin.

Stay 6 nights get the 7th night free.
12% sales tax applies to all rentals.
2 night minimum on week-ends; 3 night minimum on holidays.
Rates may be adjusted seasonally.
