Only 1hr north of Vancouver and 30 min. south of Whistler, Sunwolf is the perfect place to get away to for adventure or relaxation. Come and stay in one of our 10 cozy cabins!

Property Details

We are nestled at the confluence of the Cheakamus and Cheekye Rivers, on 5 acres of grassy woodland below the glacier-peaked Tantalus Mountains. Squamish - the "Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada" - is an outdoor enthusiast's dream.

Our cozy riverside cabins feature handmade pine furniture, a double bed and a single day bed, fir floors, gas fireplaces, and en-suite shower rooms. 5 also have kitchenettes. On site we have a hot tub, group fire pit, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, lots of greenspace for lawn games, and a lodge with a large deck and BBQ available for weddings, reunions, or retreats.

Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the Cheekye River, just a stone's throw from our ten cozy cabins. Our property is bordered by both the Cheekye and the Cheakamus River, which is a very popular local fishing spot. Once the renowned "Fergie's" fishing lodge, Sunwolf is the ideal base from which to fish the wild salmon run on the Cheakamus and nearby Squamish River. The season opens on October 1st and there is great fishing throughout the winter!

With the salmon come the Eagles! Nearby Brackendale is known as the "World Eagle Capital" as it has the highest concentration of Bald Eagles in the world. Come and see this awesome natural spectacle right from your cabin, as thousands of eagles flock to the area. For a truly unique experience, get front row seats to watch the raptors fishing by booking a place on one of our eagle viewing raft excursions!

There are miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking of all levels; world class rockclimbing, windsurfing, kayaking, and backcountry skiing; rafting, horseback riding, and sightseeing flights. Plus, we offer year round rafting trips right from our base - awesome class IV Whitewater Rafting on the Elaho River from June to September, and fun-filled Family Float Trips on the Cheakamus River from June to October, and Eagle Viewing Trips from November to March. All of these excursions start and finish right at our base, and we offer special discounts for our guests. What could be simpler?

Rental Policy

We are pet friendly! A one-off charge of $15 per stay will be added to your bill to cover cleaning costs

Basic cabins $90/night
Kitchenette cabins $100/night
Taxes add 14%
First night deposit required to make reservation. Cancellation policy: 7 days notice required for single cabin bookings, 30 for groups and/or holiday bookings. Minimum 2 night stay required on holiday and summer weekends.
