If you are seeking a peaceful holiday far from the madding crowd, this lovely, ancient two storey stone cottage, set in beautiful Breton farm and woodland, is just what you have been seeking. It was once the proud home of the quarry master and in 18

Property Details

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double and a single bed. There is also a full bathroom, shower attachment, WC and WHB. Downstairs, the convertible studio couch, by the fire, offers a double bed and there is a cloakroom with WC and WHB.
The lovely granite fireplace, now housing a log-burning stove, is the feature of the living room and will add a glow to your evenings. Central heating is also available for cooler evenings.

A DVD/CD and video are provided together with a selection of videos for adults and children. There is also a selection of games, books and toys.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave and washing machine. There is an enclosed lawned garden and patio with BBQ and patio furniture so that you can relax and enjoy the long summer evenings. The children can play in the adjoining meadow and woodlands belonging to the cottage.

Basic shopping can be found in Plumeliau, whilst Baud (8 minutes by car) and Pontivy offer excellent supermarkets, restaurants etc.

The Golfe de Morbihan and the south coast offer all kinds of water sports and the historic towns of Josselin, Vannes, Auray and Dinan make excellent day outings. Details of local attractions are provided in the cottage.
The River Blavet is renowned for fishing and licenses can be obtained.
Cycle on quiet country roads.

Pillows and duvets are provided and linen can be hired
Dogs are accepted and the usual rules of behaviour apply.
The cottage is available throughout the year
The adjacent cottage Four A Pain is also available, sleeping up to 4 persons. This is ideal for two families holidaying together.

Arrival Times

Changeover day is Sauturday: departure by 10 am; arrival after 4 pm.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

A Deposit of 25% (non-refundable) is required when booking the property.
The Balance is due 6 weeks prior to commencement date.

Bed Linen can be hired at €15 per person
