Deep within the Umbrian Olive groves the Olive is the ideal place for a couple or small family looking for a short stay. With its own front door and English owners, this is the place for tired travellers who are not so confident of their Italian.

Property Details

Tastefully furnished throughout and with your own entrance, the olive house has much to offer the short stay visitor interested in discovering the area where Umbria, Tuscany and the Lake Trasimeno meet.

On entering, you will find a hall with pictures on the wall, and through a door on the left a small sitting room for the visitor who is not ready for bed yet. Through a door at the end of the hall is the double bed room with en suite bathroom. All beautifully furnished and decorated. Next to this through a door on the right is the smaller single bedroom and separate toilet.

Perhaps the best part of this cosy little B&B; is not the fact that you have your own front door but the covered loggia. This is quite large and has many comfy chairs to lounge around on. It is the ideal place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and the view in the evenings, perhaps with a glass of wine or a good book. You will only be disturbed by the summer breeze in the pine trees surrounding the house.

This is also where you will be having your breakfast. Or, if the weather is bad you can enjoy it in the kitchen, which unusually is separate from the house. The ideal hosts, Gordon and his wife Kendal will give you as much space or company as you require and almost certainly will greet you with a glass of wine on your arrival.

The beautiful hill top town of Panicale is just a 20 minute walk away, with its restaurants, shops and bars, this is a truly lovely place to stay.

Rental Policy

* No children under the age of 10 years.
* Heating is charged extra at €5 per day.
* 25% of payment due by cheque on confirmation and balance in Euros on arrival.
* If booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks from the booked arrival date, the deposit will be forfeited.
* If for any reason, the stay is cut short then a future date well be offered - no refund for cash will be made.
