The He-Tin-Kis Lodge is an oceanfront retreat with stunning southwest views - built in 2005. Suites have private entrances and oceanfront balconies, soaker/jacuzzi tubs, heated floors, vaulted ceilings and designer decor. Surrounded by rainforest and ocean, the lodge offers unobstructed views of the He-Tin-Kis Park, Terrace Bay and the open Pacific Ocean private beach.

Situated privately in Reef Point Beach Estates, this West Coast Contemporary post and beam lodge was designed to embrace the natural beauty that surrounds it. The words “He-Tin-Kis” mean “By the Sea” and perfectly describes this cozy get-away.

From your doorstep you may follow breathtaking trails to the amazing Terrace Beach, He-Tin-Kis Park, and The Wild Pacific Trail. All amenities in the beautiful town of Ucluelet are only a five minute stroll away.

Wildlife surrounds the Lodge. Whales, eagles, seals, deer, the occasional bear, and many other wildlife species may be seen daily. It''s always beautiful and inspiring in this amazingly mystical edge of the world.

This is a very unique & undisturbed setting. We are nestled amongst giant cedars as well as perched above the magnificent Pacific Ocean - 50 ft. above sea level.

If traveling to Vancouver Island by ferry, BC Ferries reservations are recommended

3 suites. Each suite provides its own private oceanfront balcony, private bathroom with deep soaker tub [suite 1 has a jacuzzi tub], vaulted ceilings and heated floors throughout. each suite has a queen bed - suite 1 & 3 each have a single sofa bed; suite 2 has a queen sofa bed

In the Area:
Laundry, grocery & drug stores, medical care, restaurants, pubs are all approx. 1/2 km away in town. Situated on the open Pacific Ocean, Ucluelet is nestled between the two main sections of the world famous Pacific Rim National Park. The Broken Islands to the south and miles of sandy shoreline to the north. Whale watching, fishing, hiking, golfing, cycling, kayaking, surfing, and storm watching are some of the year-round attractions Ucluelet has to offer. Part of the temperate coastal rainforest, this region contains a countless variety of plant, marine and animal life including the indigenous species of Bald Eagles and Ospreys.

The He-Tin-Kis Lodge is adjacent to the Wild Pacific Trail. Suites are walking distance from some of the most breathtaking natural scenery including the renowned Amphitrite Point and its historic lighthouse.
