| Cancellation Policy Confirmed reservations are non-refundable. However, in the event of a cancellation, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will attempt to re-rent the property, and if successful, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will refund the Guest money in full, less a 10% cancellation fee. A proportionate refund will apply if the property is re-booked for only a part of the Guest\'s reserved time. If the property is not re-rented, CIVR will retain all payments. No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures. If, for any reason, the Owner cancels a confirmed reservation of the Property or the Property is rendered uninhabitable, other than as a result of a default by the Guest or an invitee of the Guest, the Owner will refund to the Guest the reservation payment paid by the Guest. Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will make reasonable efforts to find another property represented by Cortes Island Vacation Rentals for use by the Guest. Neither the Owner or Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will be liable in any way to the Guest in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph, and the Guests\' damages or claims shall be limited to the return of funds paid. |
Deposit Policy For reservations made more than 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment of the deposit, also indicating the balance due. For reservations made within 60 days of the arrival date, 100% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment. |
