The open floor plan on the main floor with the high ceilings and the skylights give the cottage a spacious feel.
The upstairs area offers a sleeping loft with queen size futon in the main area which overlooks the living area. Plus there are two small sleeping rooms with twin size platform beds. A futon in the living room downstairs can be used as either a twin or king size bed.
The cottage offers all the modern comforts of home with a well equipped kitchen and the bounty of the sea only minutes away. The location offers easy access to the beach, hiking trails or paved country roads for biking. It is possible to walk along the beach all the way to Manson''s Landing or through forest trails to uptown Manson''s which offers shops and restaurants plus the farmers market on Fridays. It is also within walking or biking distance of Hollyhock Retreat.
This is a perfect retreat to recharge ones batteries and enjoy a relaxing quiet time. Whether snoozing in the hammock, playing in the yard, walking on the beach, swimming in the lake or taking in the local sights and activities this cottage is a great place to call home during your stay on the island.<br><br>

| Cancellation Policy Confirmed reservations are non-refundable. However, in the event of a cancellation, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will attempt to re-rent the property, and if successful, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will refund the Guest money in full, less a 10% cancellation fee. A proportionate refund will apply if the property is re-booked for only a part of the Guest\'s reserved time. If the property is not re-rented, CIVR will retain all payments. No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures. If, for any reason, the Owner cancels a confirmed reservation of the Property or the Property is rendered uninhabitable, other than as a result of a default by the Guest or an invitee of the Guest, the Owner will refund to the Guest the reservation payment paid by the Guest. Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will make reasonable efforts to find another property represented by Cortes Island Vacation Rentals for use by the Guest. Neither the Owner or Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will be liable in any way to the Guest in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph, and the Guests\' damages or claims shall be limited to the return of funds paid. |
Deposit Policy For reservations made more than 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment of the deposit, also indicating the balance due. For reservations made within 60 days of the arrival date, 100% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment. |
