This cozy cabin is the perfect getaway for a couple. The property is heavily treed and the cabin is nested amongst the trees at the water''s edge. You can literally see small crabs and other sea life at high tide below the deck.
Property Details
The bright and cheery cabin is self-contained with a kitchen that includes microwave, toaster oven, two burner propane cook top and full size fridge. There is hot and cold running water, and a three piece bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. A new woodstove will allow for year round use and keep you cozy on the coldest days.
The queen size bed offers a view of the ocean located right in the ''front yard''. There are many windows to enjoy the view and there is a nice deck with a barbeque and a covered eating area overlooking the water
Access to the beach is via a short trail to a launch area for kayaks or canoes. The access is onto the protected waters of Gorge Harbour, with a community dock nearby for larger boats. It is a short walk to the store and marina, where you can purchase all basic supplies, car & boat fuel, and post letters. It is a slightly longer walk to historic Whaletown. There is a restaurant at the marina, and a local coffee shop within a few blocks<br><br>

| Cancellation Policy Confirmed reservations are non-refundable. However, in the event of a cancellation, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will attempt to re-rent the property, and if successful, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will refund the Guest money in full, less a 10% cancellation fee. A proportionate refund will apply if the property is re-booked for only a part of the Guest\'s reserved time. If the property is not re-rented, CIVR will retain all payments. No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures. If, for any reason, the Owner cancels a confirmed reservation of the Property or the Property is rendered uninhabitable, other than as a result of a default by the Guest or an invitee of the Guest, the Owner will refund to the Guest the reservation payment paid by the Guest. Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will make reasonable efforts to find another property represented by Cortes Island Vacation Rentals for use by the Guest. Neither the Owner or Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will be liable in any way to the Guest in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph, and the Guests\' damages or claims shall be limited to the return of funds paid. |
Deposit Policy For reservations made more than 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment of the deposit, also indicating the balance due. For reservations made within 60 days of the arrival date, 100% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment. |
