The Kai Lanai is a fully air-conditioned ocean-side home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii located just 80 feet from the blue pacific. This is a spacious (1,500+ SF living area) three bedroom, two bath free standing home and was completely remodeled (2006) with travertine stone floors throughout. The Kai Lanai features a complete, large and open, modern kitchen with Maple Cabinetry and Granite Countertops, a breakfast bar, sealed top stove/range, built-in microwave, side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals.

The living area is light and airy with tropical-style furniture. There are two queen size futons with 8” mattresses in the living room. The master suite is furnished with tropical furniture and a queen-size Sealy posturepedic pillow-top bed. The master bath features travertine stone floors & shower/tub. The second bedroom has a queen-size Sealy posturepedic pillow-top bed and tropical furniture for an airy island feel. The third bedroom has two (2) twin size Sealy posturepedic pillow-top beds. All bedrooms and the living room have individually controlled air conditioning (mini-split) and tropical ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around. The Kai Lanai offer high-end upgrades and proximity to the beach for an affordable price.

Although the Kai Lanai is not one of our direct beachfront rentals it is located on our beachfront property, thus you can use our beachfront decks, hot tubs, and chaise lounge chairs anytime

Enjoy relaxing on our direct beachfront yards which overlook the blue Pacific Ocean. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on our grassy beachside yards. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in one of our four hot tubs, stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled ''Hawaiian'' style towns on Oahu. All our properties are located in the fishing town of Hauula on the North Shore of Oahu near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are approximately 1 hour from Honolulu International Airport; where the Ko''olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Although we are “away from it all” we do have the Hauula Kai shopping center a short walk/drive away which has a large grocery store and several restaurants.

Our rural community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist centers of Waikiki & Ko''olina. With hiking trails and unspoiled beaches, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.

If you want to escape the crowds and discover a quieter and more peaceful alternative to the hotel and resort scene then Hale Ko''olau is perfect for you. Although our rentals are entirely self-catering we do have someone available on-site every day from 10am to 6pm to answer questions, give suggestions on where to go and what to do, or to just talk story.
