The Hale Ali''i is a fully air conditioned direct beachfront vacation home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,500+ SF living area) two bedroom, two bath duplex home with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout. The Hale Ali''i features a complete, large and open modern kitchen with porcelain tile countertops, sealed top stove/range, built-in microwave, side by side fridge, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals.

The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views. There is a queen size futon with 8” mattress in the ''bonus'' Soji (Japanese style) room in addition to a separate dining room with seating for six. The master suite is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a queen size mahogany sleigh bed. Both bedrooms have Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top mattresses for added comfort. The master bath features black marble floors and a unique moss rock wall shower. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for a tropical feel. Both bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning & tropical ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this home enjoys cool ocean breezes year around.

Enjoy relaxing on our direct beachfront yards which overlook the blue Pacific Ocean. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on our grassy beachside yards. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in one of our four hot tubs, stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails and preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort and Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled ''Hawaiian'' style towns on Oahu. All our properties are located in the fishing town of Hauula on the North Shore of Oahu near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are approximately 1 hour from Honolulu International Airport; where the Ko''olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Although we are “away from it all” we do have the Hauula Kai shopping center a short walk/drive away which has a large grocery store and several restaurants.

Our rural community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist centers of Waikiki and Ko''olina. With hiking trails and unspoiled beaches, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.

If you want to escape the crowds and discover a quieter and more peaceful alternative to the hotel and resort scene then Hale Ko''olau is perfect for you. Although our rentals are entirely self-catering we do have someone available on-site every day from 10am to 6pm to answer questions, give suggestions on where to go and what to do, or to just talk story.
