As you walk into the house you will be struck by the golden light of the natural woods, and by a feeling of absolute tranquility and serenity. Kitchen, dining room and living room are an open concept, all overlooking the expansive forest and ocean view. Wide doors lead to extensive deck space for lounging or dining outdoors. This is a dream house for musicians and those seeking a quiet place to curl up and read or write. The owner has left a small library of select books.
The kitchen is compact, but fully equipped. There is a small office space as well as a pantry and laundry area at the back of the house.
The master bedroom looks out through floor-to-ceiling windows onto a natural garden of rock, moss and evergreen. The adjoining bathroom is almost ''a sculpture'' of tile, glass and wood, again surrounded by the outdoor landscape of green, inviting you to relax in the tub.
There is a loft with a queen bed E the steep ladder restricts its'' use to agile guests E but the comfort is worth the climb. In addition, there is a single futon in the living room to allow a 5th family member to join you.<br><br>

| Cancellation Policy Confirmed reservations are non-refundable. However, in the event of a cancellation, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will attempt to re-rent the property, and if successful, Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will refund the Guest money in full, less a 10% cancellation fee. A proportionate refund will apply if the property is re-booked for only a part of the Guest\'s reserved time. If the property is not re-rented, CIVR will retain all payments. No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures. If, for any reason, the Owner cancels a confirmed reservation of the Property or the Property is rendered uninhabitable, other than as a result of a default by the Guest or an invitee of the Guest, the Owner will refund to the Guest the reservation payment paid by the Guest. Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will make reasonable efforts to find another property represented by Cortes Island Vacation Rentals for use by the Guest. Neither the Owner or Cortes Island Vacation Rentals will be liable in any way to the Guest in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph, and the Guests\' damages or claims shall be limited to the return of funds paid. |
Deposit Policy For reservations made more than 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment of the deposit, also indicating the balance due. For reservations made within 60 days of the arrival date, 100% of the total rental amount is due upon booking. A receipt will be sent by email with confirmation of payment. |
