James Tisdale, who built this home in the 1870''s for his family, as he hauled timber across Lake Michigan to help rebuild the City of Chicago after the Great Fire. With two Master Suites (one on the main level and one upstairs) each with king beds and fireplaces, sitting areas, fold-out sofas and luxurious baths. The home also features two bedrooms with queen beds, one on the main floor with private bath and another upstairs, which share a bath with the fifth bedroom that contains three twin beds.<br><br>

| Cancellation Policy You may cancel your reservation at any time up to and including the Rental Term, however no refund will apply unless and only if we are able to rent the same number of units for the same dates. In that event, if we are successful in doing so, we will refund all monies received less a $250 cancellation fee if you notify us at least 90 (ninety) days prior to arrival. A $500 cancellation fee will apply if notice received by us within thirty days, and a $1000 cancellation fee will apply if you notify us within 10 days prior to arrival. No refunds for no shows. If the cancellation fee exceeds the amount(s) you have deposited, there will be no refund and we may bill your credit card on file for the net amount, and your acceptance of these Terms specifically authorizes us to do so. |
Deposit Policy Within five days of a booking confirmation, a Reservation Deposit (equal to 50% of the Gross Rent, plus 100% of all taxes due under the Agreement, plus 100% of any optional services requested by Tenant) is due. Payment may be made by check drawn on a US bank or credit card (V/MC/D/A). If good funds are not tendered by the fifth day, the Reservation may be cancelled without notice. The balance of the Gross Rent, plus the applicable cleaning fee and Security Deposit (if any), is due not later than thirty days prior to scheduled arrival. |
