Perfectly located only 500m from the shore of Lac Vassiviere, this Limousin gite affords a cosy central base in order to discover the delights of this beautiful region in the Haute Vienne.

Property Details

The gite provides 2 double bedrooms, fully fitted and integrated kitchen and a shower room all arranged over one floor. All the usual facilities of a comfortable holiday home are provided.

The Gite is comfortably arranged over 50m2 surface area and has a small garden to the rear along with a fully enclosed garden of 100m2 to the front with secure lockable gate.

Only a 500m walk from Lac Vassiviere it is central to the activities on offer or a tranquil hideaway for those quiet holidays!

The gite is arranged on one floor with both bedrooms and the bathroom accessible from the main kitchen/diner. French doors from both bedrooms with direct access to the garden.

There is a garage which is used as storage for garden furniture, charcoal bikes etc which you are welcome to use to store your own items.

On arrival you will be welcomed and shown how everything is arranged and works. A welcome pack will be waiting for you which includes a bottle of wine, bread, cheese and pate etc.

The gite has all the essentials you need to get you started - toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk etc.

Rental Policy

The weekly rental price includes the accomodation, gas, electricity and all bed linen and towels for use in the house. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the price + a €250 bond (refundable) secures the booking with the balance payable on the day of arrival.

The security deposit of €250 is returned on the day of checkout providing the property is clean and tidy and how you found it when you arrived. Any damages and further cleaning required will be taken out of security deposit with any balance returned to you afterwards within 21 days. Please note that by making a booking you are deemed to be in agreement with these terms.

For the months of October to May the cost for electricity is not included and will be an extra cost, at the current market rate of electricity and you will be informed of the cost on arrival when the meter is read. Winter months will also incur a further charge for wood for the fire.

Arrival Times

Changeover day is normally Saturday where the property will become available to you at 4pm. Checkout is by 10am on your due day or by prior arrangement should you wish for later time.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

In order to secure your booking, you must send a request via this website. Once your booking has been accepted then it can only be confirmed by payment of your deposit and security bond. No confirmed bookings can be made without the appropriate payment which can be made in Sterling (GBP) or Euros (EUR).

Cancellations - Should you wish to cancel your booking you will receive a full refund providing the cancellation is made before 12 weeks of the rental date, after this time you will not be entitled to a refund. In all cases, a cancelled booking will result in the security bond being refunded in full. In the unlikely event of the Accommodation not being available for your holiday, you will be refunded in full however no further compensation will be due. Your booking is made in full acceptance of these terms.
We are happy to discuss any long term letting requirements you may have, please contact us for further details. However all long term lets do not include charges for services and fuel. Obviously though, long term rents can be negotiated at a competitive rate.
