The loire farmhouse is in a small peaceful farming hamlet and sits in an acre of grounds with lovely views of the countryside. We are just 4 minutes from the historic village of Montreuil Bellay, with its chateau, river, shops, bars & restaurants.

Weekend lets are available with the exclusion of June, July, August & September - prices will be made at the time of enquiry dependant of number in party.

Pick up and departure from either Poiters or Tours airports or Saumur train station can be arranged. Prices will be submitted at time of enquiry.

During the months of May, June, July, August & September a discount of 10% is offered for all bookings of more than one weeks gite hire.

A discount is offered for occupancy of less than 4 persons in the gite during the months of MAY, JUNE & SEPT - this rate will be supplied at the time of enquiry.

Evening meals are available for the day of arrival or during your stay. Price for a three course meal, including wine, soft drinks and coffee is 15 Euros per person and 8 Euros for children under 10 years . Evening meals can be taken with the proprieters or in the comfort of your own gite.

Ground Floor:-Shower/utility room - with wc, facilities for ironing.

Kitchen - fully equipped large kitchen/breakfast room. The kitchen equipment includes microwave, cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, pressure cooker and coffee maker.

Lounge/dining room - spacious area with two large sofas, dining area and a wood burning fire set in the original stone of the area. There is a satellite TV, VCR, DVD, games console with seperate TV, CD & radio, selection of games and toys to suit the whole family and a variety of DVD's and books. The patio doors in the lounge lead onto a large paved terrace area with a barbecue, outside furniture for relaxing and outside dining. There is a 1.2mtr x 5 mtr splash pool to cool over during the hot summer months.

First Floor
Bedroom 1 - with double bed, wardrobe, alarm clock radio, reading lamps, small vanity unit with seat for make up, hair dryer, shower cubicle, basin and WC

Bedroom 2 - with a double bed and single bed, wardrobe, table and chair, bedside cabinets, alarm clock radio, reading lamps, hairdryer, large family hydro massaging shower, basin, wc.

For young families the gite is equipped with a cot, high chair, stair gate and secure gates leading in and out of both gardens.

The farmhouse sits in an acre of secluded grounds, the area outside of the gite is paved and landscaped and provides plenty of seating in both the sun and shade as well as a 5mtr x 1.2mtr splash pool which is ideal for children to play in or too cool of in during the hot summer months.

There is a large play area and garden with swings, slides, basketball net, fully enclosed trampoline, badmington net, small playhouse, swingball and plenty of bats & balls to keep the children amused. This garden is also home to our chickens and vegetable plots which provide fresh produce for us and our guests to enjoy during their stay.

Additional facilities/information
A selection of adult & children's bicycles are available for for our guests to use during their stay.

A small but well equipped gym is available for our guests over the age of 16.

A 12v fridge box is available to use during your stay.

Free WIFI is available.

Linen included - Pillows, duvets, linen, towels & kitchen linen.

For guests staying longer than one week, all linen is changed at the end of the first week.
Suitability

Rental Policy

The advertised prices for the gite are in EUROS and per week, this includes all linen, bedding, towels,utilities and wood in the winter months. All beds are made prior to arrival and for fortnightly rentals are changed on the following Saturday after arrival date.

A discount of 20% is offered for all bookings of more than one weeks gite hire.

With the exception of July & August discounts are offered for occupancy of under 5 persons in the gite. This rate will be supplied at the time of enquiry.

Standard bookings for the gite run from Sat-Sat, although this can be changed out of the high season, just send us an email and we'll see what we can do.

Long Weekends, we are happy to let the gite for a long weekend, apart from in June, July, August & September. Long weekends are priced at the time of enquiry, depending on the number of guests and number of nights.

Long Winter lets, long lets for the gite are available from Nov- March. Contact us for rates.

Payment, a deposit of 30% of the full rental price of the gite is payable on booking, this can be made either by bank transfer in to a Euro account or with a sterling cheque. In the case of the deposit being made by a sterling cheque this will be returned during the rental period of the gite once full payment has been made in either travellers cheques or euros.

The balance of the total cost less deposit if made in euros at the time of booking, is to be made in either euros or travellers cheques during the rental period and before the date of departure. When a deposit is made by a sterling cheque, then full payment of the total cost is to be made during the rental period either in euros or travellers cheques and before the date of departure, once this transaction has been made then the sterling cheque for the deposit will be returned accordingly.

We do not ask for a deposit for damages, but any damages will be charged accordingly.

On the date of departure the proprietors will perform an inspection of the gite and all outside equipment including cycles.

Cleaning in carried out by the owners, but guests are expected to leave the gite in the same condition as it was presented to them upon their arrival. Any extra cleaning costs will be charged accordingly.

Bikes and outdoor equipment are supplied for guests to use at their leisure during their stay, we do however expect all such equipment be treated with respect and left in the same condition as it was presented at the start of the rental period. Any damages or loss of equipment / bikes will be paid for by our guests accordingly.

Arrival time after 3pm and departure time no later than 11 am.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Smoking is not permitted inside the farmhouse but is allowed on the terrace or gardens.

Sorry but animals are not accepted.

Use of bikes & equipment available for all guests during their rental period.
