We like to welcome you in our attractive merchant's house, characteristic of the Zaan region - and a national monument dating from 1694

The attractive, luxurious guest suite (about 40 m2) opens onto a large, peaceful, enclosed garden. The living room/bedroom has two single beds which can also be pushed together (extra bed and two extra beds for children available on request), a sitting area with comfortable armchairs, television, DVD, radio and CD player, WiFi.

The kitchen-diner includes an electric hob, refrigerator and microwave, pots and pans, and crockery.

The romantic bathroom has a domed starry ceiling, a luxurious twin spa/whirlpool complete with bathrobes, and a large (reclining) sauna. Washingmachine and dryer. The apartment has a personal entrance via the garden, and a personal patio. The price of the apartment is € 125 a night including breakfast. The surcharge for a one-night stay is € 10.

The guest room is on the first floor at the rear of the house, and is very peaceful. The room, with private stairs and a corridor, has two single beds that can also be pushed together, a small bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower, a sitting area with armchairs, television, DVD player, radio and CD player, alarm radio, a personal secure Internet connection, coffee and tea facilities, refrigerator, and a patio in the garden.

Breakfast is served in our kitchen with a smuiger (a tiled fireplace) characteristic of the Zaan region. The price of the room is € 75 a night including breakfast. The surcharge for a one-night stay is € 10.

There’s a lot to see and to experience in the direct neighbourhood of our house. It’s situated in a safe area with free parking along the street within walking distance from ´de Zaanse Schans´, a well known open air museum, and several other sightings like windmills and several small museums. We will be pleased to give you more information about the possibilities. The railway station Koog-Zaandijk is within short walking distance and has a direct connection to Amsterdam central station (18 minutes). We have bicycles for rent € 5 per day.
