Casa Mermaid is a large comfortable family home with a pool located four blocks from the town square. 4 full baths and 4 bedrooms with an open floor plan and lovely pattio on the second level with hammocks and ocean view.
As you enter the large open dining and family room you will experience the bright light airy relaxed feeling of Mexico from our open floor plan and glass block ceiling on the second level beaming with sunshine. Our large family home accommodates 2 to 12 with comfort. 4 large bedrooms and 4 full tiled baths, on two floors with a huge patio on the second level that has a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. There is a good sized (30x15)private pool with lounge chairs, tables and chairs with umbrella amidst a tropical setting with a flowing fountain for your enjoyment with no one else but you and your family.
The entire property is gated and private. Jim, our manager is available daily to tend to your wants and needs. We are located on Avenida Rojo Gomez # 7 just across the street from the ocean with no houses in-between. There is a foot path that leads to a beach of white power sand.
Casa Mermaid is approxamitely 2000 sq feet on two floors. The bedrooms are air conditioned for your comfort and have celling fans, large windows with ocean or garden view and private full baths.
The villa is charming with an old Mexican flair.
Tile and Mexican marbel floors, celling fans through out, cable T.V., VCR,DVD player, (bring your favorite movies), sterio, radio, fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher and micro wave, blender, coffee makerm 4 slice toaster and more.
I have added lots of mermaids, American fufniture and beds(no Cement beds or furn)High pressure water system, we never run out of hot water.
We will arrange airport pick-up, snorkeling, fishing, and dive trips if you ask. Puerto Morelos has been designated National Reef Park because of it's efforts to preserve the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere and the second largest in the world. Jacques Cousteau referred to this stretch of the Caribbean as having 'Gin Clear Water'. This world famous reef is just 500 meters from shore. You can walk to the nearby restaurants, central plaza, pharmacy, and grocery store. There are miles of powder white sand beaches for walking and beachcombing, day or night, directly across the street. Also in town is the Auto Ferry Terminal to the fun-filled and largest island in Mexico, Cozumel.
The Crococoon Zoo and famous Botanical Gardens are merely a ten-minute taxi drive from the Mermaid. The exciting nightlife and shopping in the Cancun Hotel Zone and Playa del Carmen are both about 30 minutes away. Also close by is the large city of Cancun, where you can experience the real Mexico and it's limitless shopping opportunities. Puerto Morelos is the gateway to the Mayan Riviera where it's possible to satisfy the Indiana Jones in you at many ancient Mayan archeology sites. These Mexican treasures include Chichen Itza, Tulum, El Rey, Coba, Muyil, and Uxmal just to mention a few. All along the Riviera Maya are the beautiful Cenotes where picnicking, snorkeling, diving, and nature walks are a special and unique experience for the foreign tourist and native Mexican alike.
Refundable Security breakage deposit will be refunded one to two weeks after departure.
Canelation policy, if you cancel within two weeks of your arrival date, no money will be refunded, unless the week is re rented, otherwise all money will be refunded.
In the case of a hurricane all money will be refunded.
If youmove into the house any time before a hurricane and depart earily, an adjustment will be made and some money refunded.
Check in 4PM Check out 11AM If you arrive early or need to stay late just let us know. Please remove personal items from the bedrooms by 11AM so we can get ready for the next guests.
