When you come to Hawaii it was to get away from the hussle and bussle of stress and traffic congestion, right? the best location on the big island, the Hamakua Coast, where the driving is "easy", you can get to Hilo town from our retreat, a 9 mile drive in 8 minutes, not 45 minutes for 9 miles.
Here on the Hamakua you see swaying Alexander Palm and miles of green pasture along with thousands of waterfalls. Our retreat located in Onomea Bay, our Retreat captures the essence of the Hawaiian spirit. Surrounded by thousands of acres of rolling pastures with gentle trade winds the retreat's vantage points offer unobstructed 180 degree view of the blue ocean, Hilo Bay, palm rainforest, snow-cap Mauna Kea, and a "smoking" volcano. Kilauea.
We have miles of hiking trails for you to discover, some leading to waterfalls where small rainbows dance lightly on the mist.

The Grand Oma Suite has a queen bed, a twin futon bed, a 6 jets whirlpool tub and and a 6 multi-heads shower.

The Olino Suite has 2 twin beds, a 10 jets whirlpool and a giantic marble vanity.

Both suites offer sparkling golden sunrises every morning. You will see gold "dust" on the ocean water rippling down to Hilo Bay in the winter and dancing up the Hamakua Coast in the summer; a visual sparkling delight every morning while you enjoy a complimentary breakfast of organic fresh, no hormone, no antibiotic "cruelty free" eggs from Oreo's farm free range hens and organic spelt pancakes with mango sauce along with organic coffee.
