Wow! A pet friendly home that is great for the kids and adults too. From the moment you walk it the door, it will instantly feel like home. It also boasts a fenced in yard with a childrens play-set and ample off-street parking for family and friends.

This home is perfect for a family get-away, a scrap-booking retreat, or just to escape the hectic life. A large dining table for everyone to gather around, a cozy gas fireplace for those chilly evenings, and a great porch to just sit back and watch the world go by; what more could you want? Spend your days walking the beach, surf fishing, kayaking, kite flying, or collecting sand dollars and a multitude of other treasures. When you are done, head into Surf Shop Espresso for a hot coffee or bowl of Ivars Clam Chowder, then wander on down Main Street and visit all the quaint shops.

With WI-FI and an upstairs office alcove complete with fax machine, this is a great home for that working vacation. (fax & phone have long distance block. Fax is great for incoming faxes)

Rental Policy

Instructions on where to pick up the keys will be provided once full payment is received.

By entering your vacation rental home, you are accepting complete adherence to rules set forth in this document. (You will receive a copy of it via email.)

Driving directions and any key codes are provided at time of payment in full.

PAYMENT POLICIES
Pacific Beach & Beyond requires a credit card to hold a reservation. A refundable security deposit will be charged at the time reservation. If the reservation is placed within 21 days of the time of arrival, the entire amount, including deposit will be charged. Rates are subject to Washington State sales and lodging tax. All rates, fees and policies are subject to change without notice.
21 days prior to your arrival, the credit card you provided will be charged the remaining balance due unless other arrangements are made.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
Security deposits are generally refunded within 5 days of departure provided that rules and regulations are adhered to as stated below.

At a minimum, the security deposit may be retained in the event a violation of our no-smoking or no pet policy or if incidental damages occur during the tenancy. Prompt check-out is imperative to ensure our staff has adequate time to prepare the home for incoming guests.

Any damages beyond the deposited amount will be charged to the credit card given at time of reservation.

CLEANING FEE
Your non-refundable cleaning fee covers basic cleaning, to prepare the home for the next guest’s arrival. It does not include washing dishes or cleaning excessive dirt. These are privately owned homes and we ask you show the owners the same respect and consideration you would expect if opening your home to strangers.

Your home is stocked for your arrival with paper products including tissue, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and dish detergent.


Please leave the home in the same general condition as it was when you arrived. Staff will arrive after your departure to thoroughly clean and inspect the home. Upon inspection, your refundable security deposit will be returned.

All food and drink spills should be cleaned up as they occur. Food and drink spills on carpet are considered to be damage, not normal wear and tear.

Refrigerator should be emptied of all food and free of spills. Dishes should be washed and put away.

Additional housekeeping charges may also be applied in the occurrence of exceeding the maximum occupancy of the property.

PET POLICY
Due to owner's & guests allergies certain homes DO NOT allow pets...big or small. In all cases - ANIMALS OTHER THAN DOGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

"Pet friendly" homes are available by request. A per pet/per day charge will apply.

Should we discover a pet has been/is in the home without prior approval, you will be charged a fee for pest control, a deep clean, and loss of your security deposit. If you miss picking up after your pet, a $25.00 per incident fee is charged.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Should the need arise to cancel your reservation prior to 21 days of your arrival, regardless of reason (including bad weather, illness, death, or economic factors) a $40 cancellation fee will be charged. We would be happy to reschedule your vacation at this time with no charge incurred.
If cancellations occur within 21 days of your arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.
No refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or for leaving the home for mechanical failure of non-essential items. Management reserves the right to terminate your contract with no refund if any rules set forth have been ignored.

SMOKING POLICY
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED IN ANY OF OUR HOMES

GENERAL POLICIES
Primary registered guest is responsible for any expenses incurred during the visit, including but not limited to loss and damages, accident or injury to person, or loss sustained while visiting the home.
Occupancy for each home is strictly enforced and fines will be assessed for exceeding the number of allowed guests.

Parking is limited; most homes accommodate 3 vehicles, the cottages 2. Any vehicles parking in or blocking a fire lane will be towed. No motor homes, trailers, campers, or boats are allowed.

Major holidays require a 3 night minimum stay.

Pacific Beach & Beyond and homeowners disclaim all liability for injury, loss, or damage. Pacific Beach & Beyond will be held harmless from claims arising out of use of home. Pacific Beach & Beyond is an agent for the owner, not an owner nor a tenant. As agent, Pacific Beach & Beyond has the authority to act in the best interest of the home owners in any and all situations. Each home is privately owned, including furnishings. Rules and regulations are on record with the owner, and to each adjoining property owner and residents. They are posted in the home. Please adhere to them at all times.


KEYS
Keys are provided for each home. A $50 charge will apply if keys are missing or lost.

The following items are included in each vacation rental:
Color TV, Silverware, Dishes/Cookware, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Kitchen Utensils, Bath Towels, Bed Linens, Blankets, Quilts/Shams/Pillows, Broom, Plunger, Garbage Containers, Trash Bags, dish soap

*Some homes have Stereos, DVD players, Flashlights, radios, and clocks.

You'll want to bring the following items for your stay:
Food & Condiments, Baby equipment, Personal Toiletries, Beach Equipment, Specialty Cooking Items, Alarm Clocks
For any item you do not see listed or are not sure about, please email or call us and ask. If you are arriving after dark, we suggest you bring a flashlight.
