Property Description
Drive through a magical fern forest to a private piece of paradise right on the ocean with 170 feet of private crushed shell beach. Two double kayaks & two canoes plus life vests & paddles are included in rental.
Property Details
The main house is over 100 feet from the cottage on an acre of land with a large running creek and woods surrounding it. The cottage faces east with phenomenal sunrises and great views. Neighbours on one side have 30 acres and the other 4. It is a unique, quiet, rural neighbourhood with a horse ranch, apple orchards, artists & artisans, gardens and friendly neighbours.
The cottage is a large suite with a queen sized bed, separate bathroom with shower, and close up views of the ocean. There is a small kithenette with a sink, toaster oven, and a microwave.
There is a television for DVDs & tapes as well as high speed wireless internet.
There is a small loft that could sleep two children.
The property is a five minute drive, or 45 minute walk, to the village of Ganges. Minimum rental, 2 days.
Salt Spring Island is 20 mins by plane or 1.5 hours from Vancouver by ferry.
Rental Policy
1 night rentals allowed with $35 cleaning fee.
