Shorepine Village is one of Oregon's premier oceanfront communities. Our new beach front neighborhood is set among the dunes in beautiful Pacific City, Oregon. Imagine vacationing in a classic beach home snuggled down behind a grass covered fore dune which offers protection against the harsher elements of oceanfront living. Our quality beach homes will provide you and your family with unforgettable memories.

Rental Policy

Shorepine Vacation Rentals – Rental Policies


Deposit:


A deposit of two nights is required for all bookings and will be charged to your credit card immediately upon submitting your reservation. The remaining balance due will be charged the day before your arrival, at which time we will also place a hold on your credit card for the security deposit. If you need to use another credit card for the remaining balance and security deposit, please call our office.

Security Deposit:

A $250.00 refundable security deposit will be held on your credit card the day before your scheduled arrival. Any damage to the vacation home or its furnishings or equipment is your responsibility (over and above normal use). If damage occurs or an item is missing, the repair/replacement cost will be deducted from your security deposit without notice.

Age:


You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a vacation home.


Cancellations:


We have a 30 day cancellation policy. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay you will forfeit your deposit. If you cancel more than 30 days before your stay you will be charged a $35.35 cancellation fee.



Reservation Fee:


A $15.00 Reservation Fee to cover administrative costs will be applied for each reservation. This fee applies regardless if the booking is made via telephone or over the internet.


Cleaning Fee:


A Cleaning Fee will be charged on each reservation. This fee varies between homes and runs between $65.00 and $80.00 per stay.


Pet Fee:


If your home is pet-friendly and you are bringing your pet(s), a $20.00 per pet, per night Pet Fee will be charged. You must inform us that you are bringing a pet at the time you make your reservation. This fee will be added to your bill and charged the day before your arrival.


Smoking:


Smoking is prohibited inside all vacation homes and is allowed only on the front porch or back deck areas.


Check-In:


Your house keys will be available at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda after 5:00 PM on the day of your arrival. Keys will only be handed out to the registered name on the reservation. Valid Photo ID is required.


Check-Out:


You must be out of your unit by 11:00 AM on your departure date. Please return your keys to the Inn at Cape Kiwanda.


Number of Occupants:


Each home has a set maximum occupancy. No more than the maximum number of people (including children age 5 and over) are allowed in your unit at any time. Please read your home’s description to determine its maximum occupancy.




Unit Supplies:


Just bring your groceries, your clothes, and yourself! Each home is fully furnished, including cooking and serving utensils, bedding and towels. Barbecues, bicycles, and garage door openers are also provided along with a supply of paper towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, dish washing soap, laundry detergent, light bulbs, hand soap, and shampoo.


Tax:

Each reservation is subject to the 9% state lodging tax and surcharge.


Clubhouse/Fitness Center:

All rentals at Shorepine include access to our new clubhouse and fitness center, which is located at the entrance to Shorepine Village. The clubhouse includes a large plasma TV with digital cable, stereo, refrigerator, and a pool table. The adjacent fitness center features modern exercise equipment including a treadmill, elliptical machine, stationary bike, and weights. Wireless internet is also available in the clubhouse so bring your laptop! The clubhouse and fitness center are open every day from 6am until 10pm.

Parking:

Each home is allowed a maximum of 2 cars. There is additional parking
in our overflow parking lot however space is limited.

Nuisances:

Any loud or disturbing activities, such as loud music or late night entertainment are prohibited. Hours of Quiet for the Village are 10:00pm until 8:00am.
