Property Description

Two Cottages in rural SW France. Each Cottage sleeps 4 people. Swimming Pool and Private Gardens. All linen and towels provided except for swimming pool towels. Meals on day of arrival can be provided if desired. No cleaning charges.

Property Details

Each cottage is open-plan downstairs with sitting/dining/kitchen areas. Upstairs is a bathroom and a double and twin-bedded rooms. Both cottages are equipped with gas cooker, fridge and washing machine. The terraced pool is over looked by a magnificent pigeonnier and entered by roman steps, with ample terracing. Sun Loungers. Private gardens.

In a quiet and peaceful setting 6 kms from the medieval town of Caylus, near to the wine regions of Cahors/Gaillac. Perard is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Lassalle, its location combining the benefits of a local community with a real sense of rural tranquility. Surrounding countryside is rich in nature and offers endless adventure and interest from riding, canoing, mountain biking and walking to wandering around old medieval towns and villages.

Activities
The farmhouse is located in the Tarn-et-Garonne and this region offers a great diversity of landscapes (forests, meadows, farmed hillsides, deep valleys etc....) together with a great historical richness - castles of the middle ages, churches or simple stone farmhouses with their 'pigeonniers' (dove cote's) are very typical of this region. You will see them all during your tours in the country. The Gorges of Aveyron and the picturesque town of St. Antonin Noble Val are only 10 minutes drive away. Don't forget to visit the Ingres museum in Montauban or the Lenoir museum in Montricoux. A little further, you will enjoy a visit to Albi with its famous cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum, Cordes sur Ciel, a very beautiful middle age village, or the city of Toulouse, which is only 80 km away. There are several typical market villages in the region where you will find fresh fruits and vegetables grown in the area and every conceivable product of French gastronomy (foies gras, sausages and saucissons, pastries, local wines etc...). There are also some large supermarkets in Caussade and Montauban. A wide variety of sports are available in the area as well as many good restaurants where you will enjoy the pleasures of French cooking. Don't hesitate to ask for a restaurant recommendation for a nice meal

Rental Policy

Saturday - Saturday. Full Rental due 6 weeks before occupation. 50% due to confirm booking

Arrival Times

Arrival must be 4pm on first day and departure must be by 10am on last day

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

50% must be paid to confirm booking with full payment due 6 weeks prior to occupation. Prices are based on a weeks stay. Prices do not include heating charges. All other Utilities are included.

Daily prices for for Bed and Breakfast per night per room.
