4 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home sleeps 6-8 (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Futon, 2 Twin). But we have had as many as 14! Just south of Kalispell at Flathead Lake awaits your Winter and Summer Playland! Ski Blacktail & Big Mountain!!

WINTER:
Flathead Valley is the Winter Playland for Northwest Montana: Ski Blacktail Mountain or Big Mountain, Ice Fish on Flathead Lake, Snowshoeing and Snowmobile the back country. Fresh powder just arrived in Montana's Rocky Mountains!!

SUMMER FUN:
Play in the summer at Flathead Lake - one of the cleanest lakes in the world (~30 miles long and 15 miles wide) Walk 3 minutes down the road to Flathead Lake access with boardwalk, picnic table, and a new 40 ft dock installed July 2008. Do you have a boat? Launch your boat from one of Lakeside's public docks, just 3 miles away and no launching fees. Tie your boat up during the day down the road. If you want to keep your boat in the lake during your stay you can leave it 3 miles away at the Lakeside Marina (reasonable rates) or bring it back to the house at night to our circular driveway. Lakeside Marina also rents boats! Call if you need more information.

THE HOUSE:
Tamarack Lake House is 2,800 sq. ft., fully furnished, and sits on a 1/2 acre. It is located at Lakeside's Angel Point area in a wooded setting with views and sounds of Flathead Lake through the trees (see the map). Checkout wildlife from the big wrap around deck or yard: deer, squirels, foxes, woodpeckers, bluejays, osprey, and more; occasionally a bear, eagle, or moose is sighted. The deck includes 2 rocking chairs, 2 lounge chairs, and a table with 4 chairs under a gazebo. BBQ or roast marshmallows at the back yard fire pit - wood provided until it runs out!

Interior of the house includes a large kitchen and dining room area with travertine floors / granite counter tops / stainless steel appliances / cherry cabinets, Great room has A-frame windows looking towards the lake. Sleeping areas includes 4-bedrooms and a loft that is empty for additional sleeping. 2 full baths. Weider home gym with 3-stations and bike also available for exercise - although hiking around the neighborhood is much more fun!

We can accomodate more than 8 people inside wih lots of extra space in the loft, living room, or 3rd bedroom if you have air matresses and/or sleeping bags. You can also bring a tent and camp outside by the fire pit! We even had a group of 14 put up a volleyball net in the yard.

This is a great house to accomodate large families in a fabulous area!

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Minimum stay = 5 nights.
$95 cleaning fee and $500 security deposit required with all stays.
