Hello and Sawasdee Khap to you all. I will start by telling you a little bit about myself... I have recently retired (early) and emigrated to a more agreeable lifestyle in Thailand.

With a lifelong ambition to experience the Far East I visited the Kingdom for the first time on the first day of 2008, learning the hard way I stayed in Hotels in various locations.

The second visit, resulted in a much more relaxed three week vacation, mainly from staying at the T&J; Homestay.
I have had led a varied life full of unique experiences, but that has not stopped me wanting to sample many more. Thailand is like starting a new life!!!

I have been extremely fortunate to meet Pok who was born in Bangkok. She is well educated and has led an interesting life and had a responsible career, which included Banking and Project Management.

She speaks fluent English, knows Bangkok and Thailand very well and is a very good Thai cook

We took over the running of the “Homestay” on the 1st July 2008 with the sole intention of carrying on where Tom & Jiab left off; we both love to travel and are always ready to try some new experience.

Like Tom, (my predecessor) I'm not a big drinker but enjoy a night out with good food and live music.

Also Like our predecessors, we aim to make your stay in Bangkok unforgettable with memories and new friends.
Tom & Jiab started T&J; Homestay in August 2007 and continued to run the business until June 2008. Tom & Jiab then moved back to the United Kingdom to pursue a career at their family business.

Message from Tom; After hosting Eric and Pok we became friends and handed over the homestay to extremely satisfied guests who didn’t wish to leave.

I fell in love with Thailand 4 years ago and after countless visits I moved here in July 2007. I live in Bangkok now with my girlfriend in a 2 bedroom apartment. The master bedroom we have decorated as our guest room so we have a base to guide our guests around Bangkok.
Our relaxed homestay gives you a unique experience in Bangkok, as many tourists stay in the Koh San Road area or go to an expensive 5 star hotel. Our different approach to a homestay is away from other tourists but also gives you easy and cheap access to Bangkok's marvelous attractions like the Grand Palace and Jim Thompson’s House.

We have just one, large & beautifully decorated en-suite bedroom available for you to stay in which easily competes with other 5 Star Thai hotels!

If you are looking for unique accommodation away from tourists or wish to experience a Thai lifestyle during your stay in Bangkok, you have found the right link.
Our recent experience with our first guests has shown us that we can give you not only offer a unique guide service but also tailor your individual needs and reduce your booking fees at hotels etc. For example Richard and Maria from the UK had booked a Villa on Koh Chang online. On arrival here Pok then rebooked the same Villa and saved them over 4000 baht.

HOWEVER .......The original T & J Homestay has relocated and is now the Bangkok “Hub” Homestay

Why the Bangkok “Hub” you may ask? …………..Well our experience has shown that our previous guests prefer to book us as a staging post for their travels around Thailand.

The drought of Western tourists arriving in Thailand has prompted us to re-invent ourselves and change our image along with our location.

we are still close to the “sounds & smells” of downtown Bangkok.
A 15 minute ride in a taxi or 25 minutes in one of the frequent very inexpensive Thai buses will see you back in Pra kanong where T & J homestay was originally located, very close to the BTS Skytrain station and the main Sukhumvit Road.

Location -
Our new more spacious condominium is close to the Seacon and Seri shopping centres and is situated in a more “up-market” and quieter suburb of Bangkok adjacent to a large reservoir & park, also we are offering more amenities with the room, fridge, tv, private balcony, air conditioner etc, exactly as you would expect to find in most hotels………………. but with a homely feel and a personnel service.
Cost is 1000 THB per night. Please email me if you have any questions or wish to make a booking. (The cost is for up to 2 persons per night but if you wish to accommodate a 3rd person we have a single mattress available for an extra 500 THB per night).
