Property Description

The cottage " meysou Laura " is a lovely old detached property from the XVII century. It is set in the heart of Montravel wine growing region in south west of France between Bergerac and St Emilion on a hill side close to a small hamlet

Property Details

The cottage belongs to the winery “Château Moulin Caresse” owned
by family Sylvie and Jean-François Deffarge since the XVII century.
“Meysou laura” is an old property recently renovated respecting
the traditions and character of the house and surrounding area;
with solid stone walls and exposed beams the house is a real delight.
The house is located in a small and quiet hamlet.
To the rear of the house is a terrace with teak garden furniture and several
steps lead down to the private swimming pool. The pool 4 x 8 m with roman
steps is deep from 1m to 1.80 m and close for security by wall and gates and
surrounded by a terrace with 6 sun lounges and parasols. Hedges all around
close the garden. Flowers and small trees decorate the garden so an old
fountain protected by roof in stones and small gate.
Bedroom 1: 25m2 king size bed,
phone plug- 2 windows south,
view to the swimming pool
and valley, stone walls,
parquet floor,
independent toilet,
shower room, cupboard,
table and chair, cot,
hair dryer.
Bedroom 2:
14 m2 king size bed
2 windows south and east,
stone wall, parquet floor,
bath room with,
thermostatic tap
and toilet, cupboard,
table and chair,
hair dryer. Bedroom 3: 14 m2 twin beds,
1 window east, old wall in stone
and cob (torchis), parquet floor,
shower room and toilet,
cupboard, table and chair,
hair dryer.
Below the level of the house is the terrace (few steps)
near the swimming pool, few more steps down.
The garden furniture is in teak with 7 seats.
Barbecue in the garden near the terrace. Outside shower
near the swimming pool. 3 big parasols for terrace or
swimming pool. 6 sun lounges around swimming pool.
Exterior towel rail, storage room for parasols.
All linen is provided.
Baby’s high chair,
cot, playpen, pushchair,

is provided for baby.
