The apartment is located in Jardin del Atlantico building, at only 5 min walk from the seaside promenade (Paseo Costa Canario), and less than 10 min walk from the beach. It is a quite area, yet near commercial centres with shops, restaurants, bars,...)
The Jardin del Atlantico building is surrounded by gardens and 5 swimming pools, one of them heated. To make a stroll around is a pleasure. The complex includes a tennis court, restaurant, bar by the pool, mini golf, etc. Comfortable sun beds surround the swimming pools and parasols are available. There is also a separate pool just for children.
The apartment is fully equipped with a private telephone, television, satellite TV, stereo set, washing machine, microwave, etc,...
The most attracting feature of the area (apart from the wonderful weather itself) is the sand dunes of Maspalomas (today, a natural reserve). They are up to 10 m (33 ft) high and cover an area of 330 hectares. They make a fantastic stroll.
GRAN CANARIA ISLAND
Playa del Ingles / Maspalomas is located is the southest tip of Gran Canaria island. The North of the island is a lot more green, the centre is full of beautiful mountains (nearly 2000 m, 6000 ft, high) and the South is very dry and enjoys a mildly warm and dry climate that is the envy of North Europeans (and most of the world!). Rented cars, touristic buses, as well as public transportation, are handily available (even at the reception of the Jardin del Atlantico building). Near attractions include Mogan, and Las Palmas, and picturesque villages of the mountains central area.
