A recently renovated stone village house in a tranquil village in the Pyrenees. All mod cons but with the charm of wooden floors and beamed ceilings. Perfect place to realax or explore our delightful region.

Property Details

This comfortable house has all you need to spend a relaxing week in the foothills of the Pyrenees. You can take walks from the house itself into the nearby beech forest or you can explore the open countryside in front of the house. The village is very peaceful wiyth a population of only 90 people. There are many great days out possible too if you wish to explore the Pyrenees area. there are Cathare castles only 35 mins away, Romanesque churches, abbeys, the mountain train, local markets, wine tasting, dramatic gorges and of course the sea is only a 1hr 15 min drive away.
On the ground floor level is the small private garden, barbecue and a small terrace.
On the first floor is the open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dish-washer and washing machine. The eating area gives on to the wisteria draped terrace with its lovely views over the surrounding countryside and mountains. There is also a table and chairs here and 2 deckchairs.
A wood stove in the lounge is perfect for the cooler months.
On the 2nd floor are the 2 bedrooms and spacious bathroom. One bedroom has 2 single beds and the other has a double bed.
The attractive light décor makes a nice contrast with the wooden floors and beamed ceilings.
