Coach Cottage is a converted stone built barn located down a small lane within the lovely medieval village of Trémolat in the Dordogne Valley. Tremolat has everything you need for a wonderful experience of life in a rural French village.

Coach cottage is a converted two storey stone barn with exposed stone walls, a mezzanine bedroom under the beams and a wood burning stove. It is a charming and cosy retreat ideal for couples.

The Lounge is open to the roof and is comfortably furnished with a 3 piece cottage suite, antique farmhouse dining table and huge original armoire. There is a small television with satellite receiver and DVD player. We offer WIFI internet connection.

The kitchen, although compact, has everything you
need for a comfortable stay. With a gas hob, full size electric oven, fridge with ice box and a washing
machine.

The cottage has its own private courtyard with
outside dining area and barbecue. Out through
the gate and down past the vegetable patch is
the access to the swimming pool and sunbathing area.
Located just off the village square the cottage is perfectly situated to enjoy all the local amenities. The famous Michelin starred restaurant “Le Vieux Logis” is only 100 metres away!
In the village we also have: the excellent Bistrot d’en face (recommended in the red guide) and a bar restaurant and pizzeria. There is a bakery and a small local grocery shop.

Rental Policy

A deposit is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. Bedding and Towels are included in the rental price. A refundable damage deposit is also required.

Arrival Times

During high season (June - September) arrival preferred on Saturday after 4pm. Other time of the year are more flexible.
