Located in the "Valley Above the Clouds" Suches, Georgia, this mountain cabin is an idea retreat. Suches is a great designation for families or 2 wheelers who enjoy driving challenging mountain roads. Lake Winfield Scott is less than 6 miles.
Our cabin has a kitchen / living area that is equiped with brand new appliances: washer/ dryer; dish washer; ref. and gas stove. There is one bedroom on this level with a queen bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Upstairs, the divided sleeping loft has a queen bed and a futon. There is one bathroom with a tub and shower. Linens provided. Gas heat and ceiling fans. Gas grill on deck over looking private lake.
Suches offers a lot of nothing and a great deal of quality family time. Resturants in Suches are limited to family operated establishments that are only opened on the weekends and then not every weekend. There is one grocery store and it is only slightly larger than a convenience store. Blairsville, Blue Ridge and Dahlonega are all equal distance: 30 minutes.
SO WHY COME? Because it is beautiful. Because you enjoy hiking or swimming in crystal clear mountain lakes. Because you enjoying fishing or viewing wild life? Because you really do want to get away from it all.
