Prysgoed provides affordable, comfortable, non smoking accommodation for adults, in a family home, without compromise on quality or service. We are situated in the pretty village of Llwyngwril nestling in the south of the Snowdonia National Park.

Prysgoed is bed and breakfast accommodation run from a family home ideally situated for those energetic types that have an abundance of energy for walking or cycling over the beautiful hills surrounding the Cader Idris mountain or those less energetic that would like to appreciate the scenery from the comfort of a garden chair or whilst sipping some refreshment from the local pub or café. There are great fishing spots along the coast, known for their Bass, Wrays, Flatfish and Mackerel. There is also a championship Golf course nearby.

The property lies in the quiet, pretty village of Llwyngwril nestling in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park on the West coast of Wales, the pebble beach is a 3 minute walk away. We are half way between the lovely town of Dolgellau and the seaside town of Tywyn. Our rural location makes the use of a car advisable, but not essential, as public transport is available.

Fairbourne is just 2 miles away and boasts a quiet extensive sandy beach, and Barmouth is just 10 miles away, providing all the seaside entertainment you could need. The Cader Idris Mountain range is local and the property is in an ideal location for hill walking, sightseeing and cycling with magnificent views across cardigan bay and the Llyn Peninsular.
There is a very good cafe and a pub both serving meals in the village.

We have 2 good sized rooms, 1 double and 1 twin/super king, both very comfortable. Each room has a tv/dvd and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has a double sized shower, a double ended roll top bath, and 2 handbasins, this is a very spacious room. Our water is heated by solar power saving energy usage.

The Dining room is comfortably furnished and breakfast is cooked to order from our extensive menu including vergetarian options. We always have both soya and rice milk, together with decaffeinate tea and coffee in stock so ask for these alternatives if you require them.

Rental Policy

Booking Terms and Conditions.

1. We only confirm reservations upon receipt of a deposit equal to the cost of one night’s accommodation. We recommend this be paid by credit card, UK debit card or I can send an invoice by email. The balance will be due 2 weeks before arrival.

2. Please note: in line with most retailers, there will be a 3% administration charge added for card and internet payments. This charge is usually included within the cost of goods in many outlets but we prefer to show it separately.

3. Payment can also be made by cheque or postal order. (Payable to Prysgoed B&B;).

4. Should it be necessary to cancel a reservation for which a deposit has been paid, we will return the deposit provided notification is received 1 week before the confirmed arrival time. After that time, if we are unable to let the room the deposit will be treated as a cancellation fee and will not be returned. All other monies paid will be returned.

5. Arrival will be after 4pm unless by prearrangement. Checkout time will be 10.30am to allow for the rooms to be made ready for incoming guests. We can store your luggage in a secure room for the day before your ongoing journey.

The cost of any damages or items missing, i.e. towels, robes, lost keys etc. will be deducted from the registered card, you will be notified by post or email of the relevant cost.
