Each fully-furnished apartment includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen. Brick patio (& grill during warmer months) in the backyard is available for use by all guests. Parking spots are available for additional fee.

Property Details

Fremont Place of Chicago is a charming 3-flat brownstone building built in the early 1900s and is set in Chicago's Lakeview/Wrigleyville neighborhood. The neighborhood is safe and offers trendy bars, coffee shops and restaurants of varying cuisines. Fremont Place is perfect for business travelers, couples, families and everything in between! Make Chicago and Fremont Place a tradition!

The three fully furnished apartments can sleep up to 6 guests using the 2 queen-size beds and 1 queen-size pull-out sofa. 1-2 more guests can be accommodated using the 1 twin-size day bed and 1 twin-size trundle. Snuggle in 100% cotton linens & down comforters. There are closets to hide suitcases and hang clothes and drawers to neatly store folded apparel. Two full bathrooms with shower or tub have excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water, 100% cotton bath towels, an iron and hair dryer.

In the living room which overlooks Fremont Street, guests can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace with the flip of a switch. Guests can sit comfortably on the couch and loveseat/recliners while being entertained by the home theater system, including cable TV and CD/DVD player. For the bookworms, well-lit reading areas can be found in the bedrooms, office, living room or dining room.

Kitchen equipment includes a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, a full set of dishes, flatware, cookware and utensils. Six to eight guests can enjoy a home-cooked meal in the formal dining room.

Fremont Place is equipped with central heat, central air conditioning, a telephone with unlimited nationwide calling and high-speed internet accessible via wi-fi. Guests also have access to free laundry facilities.

On-site parking is available for an additional fee.

Rental Policy

Cancellations must be made via email or fax and be more than 14 days prior to arrival to result in a refund of the grand total minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will result in no refund, but may result in a credit that can be used towards a future reservation. Exception: Reservations made for holiday period, for more than 1 suite and for monthly terms require cancellation 30 days prior to your arrival for refund of payments already received minus a $50 cancellation fee.

A $500 security deposit per suite using your credit card will be held (not charged) until 48 hours after your departure. Charges will only occur if the suite(s) and premises are not left in the same condition as it were upon arrival. This policy does not refer to normal wear and tear or the cleaning/laundry service that is included with your stay. You will be charged $50 per suite for cleaning beyond normal range and $35 for each set of keys (including the laundry key) not left on the kitchen countertop upon departure.

Any damage or stolen items caused by you or any member of your group that will result in loss of your security deposit will be presented via email. If damages exceed $500, you will be responsible for all additional costs associated with repairs or replacement.

Depending on your payment method, we may ask you to perform this authorization via our online credit card processing system about 1 week prior to your arrival.

Smoking and illegal substances are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the building and within 15 feet of the building’s entrance and exit (State of Illinois law). If you violate this policy, you and all members of your group will be required to vacate immediately. All payments applied will be forfeited. Upon departure, any signs (cigarette butts, cigarette packaging, etc.) or smell of smoke in the suite(s) will result in the automatic loss of your entire security deposit.

Any person associated with Fremont Place of Chicago is granted access to your suite(s) for the purpose of maintenance and/or upkeep of the property or suspicion of lease violations. Example: Smoking or illegal substances, violation to occupancy.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

For stays less than 30 days in length:
To hold your reservation, the following are required: 1) the completed online form and 2) a payment equal to at least 1 night per suite. To guarantee your reservation, the remaining balance is due 21 days prior to your arrival. If the balance is not received 21 days before your arrival date, suite(s) will be offered to requests on the waiting list.

For stays of 30 days or more in length:
To hold your reservation, the following are required: 1) the completed online form and 2) a payment equal to at least $500 per suite. Payments equal to the agreed upon monthly rate are due 30 days prior to the beginning of each monthly term. If the balance or next monthly rate is not received 30 days before your arrival date, suite(s) will be offered to requests on the waiting list.

Parking Spot:
If you are reserving a parking spot(s), we will require the color, year, make, model and license plate of the vehicle parking in the spot(s). We provide to our towing company the vehicle information that will park in the spots. They are instructed to tow immediately if the vehicle information does not match what we have provided.

Payment Methods:
We accept: Cash, Check, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, PayPal via eCheck, PayPal via PayPal funds and Credit Card (charges to a credit card are subject to a 2.5% transaction fee).
