With accommodations including 14 cottages and 4 rooms located in Hubbards, Nova Scotia on the beautiful South Shore Lighthouse Route. Only 35 minutes from Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg, and only 40 minutes from the Annapolis Valley.

Property Details

Our property provides a beautiful setting to relax and stay. While you relax, the children can enjoy our on site playground. Enjoy the view from our private dock of scenic Hubbards Cove and the many boats which take shelter in its quiet waters or perhaps you would prefer to experience the cove from one of our row boats. Walk to Hubbards Beach and awaken your senses to the salt air, the ocean waves and the sand beneath your feet.
Our village like setting offers all the amenities to enjoy a night, a week or even longer.Great for family reunions or retreats, accommodating up to 70 people. Come, relax and enjoy your stay in a cottage or room in the charming 19th Century home. Accommodations include; thirteen cottages , all with fully equipped kitchens for those extended stays and one sleeping cabin. Each cottage has a private deck with BBQ, cable TV, some units have fireplace and/or whirlpool tub.
The "Anchorage House" has four suites all with private bathrooms, cable TV and phones, including a king suite with 6' whirlpool tub and a queen suite with kitchenette and fireplace.
Hubbards has been the cottages vacation destination for Halifax and surrounding communities for many years. Within easy reach are sandy beaches the best of which are popular Queensland and Hubbard's own beach. In addition we are part of an area known as TenBeaches, and a visit to its web site at TenBeaches.ca will give you an overview of our spectacular region. Here you will find within easy reach all the reasons to come to Nova Scotia and choose accommodations here in our area, lobster, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, nature trails, kayaking, Halifax Citadel Hill, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Annapolis Valley, Mahone Bay's churches, antiques, shopping, and if I've worn you out, then perhaps you are looking for a place to relax and get away from it all, we have that as well. Quiet vistas right from our own dock, sunsets, waves, birds and great seasonal photo opportunities including brilliant fall colours. Your nearest seaside escape that's a world away.

Rental Policy

Bookings of 3 days or more require 25% deposit (includes $50 non-refundable booking fee), and a minimum of one months notice of cancellation. Bookings of 1 and 2 days require 50% deposit (includes $25 non-refundable booking fee), and one weeks notice of cancellation. Deposits will be processed for all bookings and if notices do not fall within the required time frame, deposit will be forfeited and account may be charged for balance of nights left vacant.
Balance of reservation will be processed on arrival.
