Bungalows Oasis is a small compound with seven rental units. It is one block up from Zicatela Beach, set in a lovely garden with majestic palms, exotic plants and flowers, and an abundance of birds. It has spectacular views of the ocean and fabulous sunsets all the while enjoying the cool breezes that come down from the Sierra Madre mountains.
Bungalows Oasis is two blocks from the fabulous shops and restaurants on Zicatela Beach and about six blocks from Puerto Escondido proper with its restaurants, shops and banks, as well as its wonderful market filled with produce, flowers and Oaxacan crafts.
Aside from surfing at the world reknowned Zicatela Beach, famous for the Mexican pipeline, Bungalows Oasis is close to everything you would want to do... take surfing lessons, go swimming, snorkling, horseback riding, skidiving or sports fishing. It is also a starting point for many eco- tours of nearby lagoons and small coffee plantations as well as visits to iguana, crocodile and endangered turtle hatcheries, and day trips to small Oaxacan villages famous for their abundance of beautiful crafts.
All the units come fully equipped with linens, cooking and eating utensils, stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender and coffee maker as well as free wireless internet service and satellite TV. All have fans and several of the larger units have a bedroom with air conditioning as well.
