Property Description

Listen to the doves as you drink your coffee on our large front porch. Take the short walk to two of the island's most popular restaurants then make the 2 min. drive to the beach or to "The Strand" shopping district. Relax..you're on vacation!

Property Details

Our 1910 historic home is in the heart of Galveston's popular "East End Historic District". The home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, full kitchen, dining, living and 1-car garage with laundry facility. The upstairs is not available for use at this time but we hope to be able to offer it by June of this year. It will sleep 8 more people when we are finished with the remodeling. For now, the home sleeps 8. There are two queen beds with plush mattress tops, a large couch, a twin mattress (great for kids) and a pillow-top inflatable queen mattress for your convenience. All linens including towels are provided along with your first roll of paper towels and toilet paper, coffee filters and dishwashing/dishwasher detergent.
The home has 2 televisions with cable, 2 dvd/vcr players, central heat and air, ceiling fans, cd player,
coffee maker, electric skillet, crock pot, blender, beach toys and beach umbrella.

Rental Policy

The person responsible for the rental of the home must be over 25. That person must be staying at the home during the entire time that the home is booked. We do not rent for Prom even with someone 25 present. The house is in a residential neighborhood and is perfect for families. It is not suitable for loud parties or loud music. The deposit is required to hold the home with half the rental fee due within 30 days of your stay and the remainder due before you are given the keys. Pets are allowed under certain circumstances and with a non-refundable deposit of $50. All other deposits are refunded within 2 weeks of checkout. Smoking is allowed on the front veranda only. We ask that small children not be allowed to operate vcr players, cd player or tv's by themselves.

Arrival Times

check in is anytime after 4 PM and checkout is by noon. We are flexible with this dependant upon how tightly the house is booked.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Deposits range from $100 to $250 depending on the length of stay and amount of people using the home. This is refunded minus a cleaning fee of $50 to $80 provided the home is not damaged. Minimum stay in the off season is 2 nights, minimum stay during the April, May and September is 3 nights.
