We built this retreat to become the perfect family vacation destination. With three large bedrooms, and two sleeper sofas you can easily sleep ten guests. Two full baths two TVs with a DVD/VCR player and a well stocked library of family movies

Property Details

Snowbird Creek Log Cabin is secluded and on a private road with no through traffic. The front porch offers gorgeous views of the Snowbird Mountains. Quiet and peacefully situated on world famous trout waters Snowbird Creek 10 feet off the large back deck. The children will love the great tubing and swimming. You’ll be very close to Asheville and Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Nantahala White Water. Cherokee and the Biltmore House are great day trips. We keep two canoes at the lake for your enjoyment. A large BBQ grille and family size hot tub on the back deck overlooking Snowbird Creek makes for hours of great family memories and relaxation. We provide local phone service, a great supply of family games and an outdoor hammock and fire pit. Close to the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest and Appalachian Trail the hiking enthusiast is in heaven here.
We provide everything you would possibly need including an iron, blender, coffee maker, and air pump for your inner tubes. Let the children bring their bikes or skateboards our private road is quiet flat and safe. Ceiling fans in every room as well as central air and heat make any time of the year a comfort. Local hardwood floors throughout and native softwood paneling on all walls gives this cabin a true natural feeling. The interior walls are sound insulated and the baths each have a tub and shower. The upstairs will easily sleep five children and a sleeper sofa in the living room is available if needed. Come relax, explore and have fun.
