This house has a screened-in porch, 57 ft. long, looking out over the marshes and a tidal creek with a view of Sapelo Island. There are five sets of french doors that open onto this porch on the southeast side, plus there is another 16 X 18 ft. deck that isn't screened. Open the front door and the french doors, and a gentle breeze blows through the whole house. Yet the whole house is quite private.

The well equipped kitchen overlooks the great room, with a view of the marsh through the French doors. The master bedroom suite is on one side of the house, with the other two bedrooms on the other side. Two bedrooms, with King size beds and high-thread-count linens have French doors that open up to the porch. Or sleep on the bed on the porch, if you like. An office and den and the dining room is on the northeast. They overlook an almost private lagoon, that you can fish in and is full of wildlife and exotic birds, which include wood storks, hooded mergansers and pileated woodpeckers. The third bedroom, with the queen size bed, views the lagoon and a corner of the marsh.

Bring your kayaks, boats, and bikes. They can all be locked inside the large garage, under the house. One flat boat and canoe and four bikes are on-site. We recommend fat tire bikes, if you plan on riding on any of the many sandy roads. However there are lots of good rides for skinny tire bikes. For motor boats, there is a public launch for a fee (back in trailer for free) a few miles away. Take your own boat out to Sapelo Island (within sight of the house) and its beautiful beaches, or take the ferry from it's launch a mile away. Drive 20 min. to the Harris Neck Wildlife Reserve and see the finest bird rookeries on the Georgia Coast and probably the whole southeast Atlantic Coast.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

$1250 for each of first two weeks. $625 for third week. $315 for fourth week. $100/day for each day after that. (note: for the first four weeks, you end up paying $123/day)
