Property Details

The St. Simons Beach Club has beautifully landscaped grounds feature stately oaks canopying the gated entrance, tropical foliage embellishing the courtyard, and a large grass lawn with children’s sandboxes.

In the heart of the Beach Club there is a large oceanfront swimming pool, separate children’s pool, and two hot-tubs. Additional amenities include direct beach access and barbecue grills as well as a fitness, recreation, and business center.
All residences include a fully-equipped kitchen, private balcony, and combined living and dining area.

Rental Policy

Reservations:
A valid credit card is required for all reservations. For payment, we accept cash, personal check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. There will be a $30 surcharge on all returned checks.


Cancellations:
Cancellation notice is required 30 days prior to arrival for daily and weekly reservations and 60 days prior to arrival for monthly reservations. Deposits will be refunded less a $100 cancellation fee when proper notice is given. Should cancellation occur with less than the required notice, advance deposits will be forfeited.

Deposits:
A deposit of 50% of the base rental amount, not including taxes and fees, is required to secure a reservation. Deposits for daily and weekly reservations are due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance owed for daily and weekly reservations will be collected 30 days prior to arrival. Daily and weekly reservations made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full at time of reservation. For monthly reservations, a $100 payment is required to secure a residence. The remaining deposit for monthly reservations will be due 90 days prior to arrival.
The remaining balance owed for monthly stays will be collected at check-in.

Refunds:
No refunds are granted for early departure, inclement weather, eviction, mechanical malfunction, or interruption of utilities. We will make every effort to ensure necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.


Reservation Surcharge:
A surcharge is applied to every reservation, which includes housekeeping charges and the damage waiver fee. Each residence will be cleaned before arrival and upon departure. Additional cleaning can be scheduled for an extra charge. The damage waiver fee covers unintentional damages of up to $3000 per stay. Unintentional damage must be reported by the guest before departure to be covered by the damage waiver. If an accident is not reported, repairs will be made at the guest’s expense.


Taxes:
State sales tax (6%) and county hotel-motel tax (5%) is collected on the first 10 nights of all stays. State sales tax only is collected on the 11th-90th nights of all stays. Tax requirements are subject to change by state and local taxing authorities.




Age:
One individual in each party must be at least 25 years of age and occupy the property during the entire reservation period.


Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check out is 10:00 am.

Behavior:
Loud or unruly behavior is strictly prohibited. Management reserves the right to evict, without refund, any person who creates a disturbance or becomes a nuisance.


Pet Policy:
Residences do not accept pets, unless noted. Properties designated as pet friendly require a $125 non-refundable pet fee. Size, type, and quantity restrictions may apply. Violation of the pet policy may result in eviction and forfeiture of rent.


Smoking:
Unless otherwise noted, all residences are designated non-smoking. Smoking inside a non-smoking residence will result in a minimum charge of $250 for additional cleaning.


Occupancy:
The occupancy limitation for each residence is designated in the property description. Management reserves the right of eviction, without refund, for unauthorized occupancy.


Telephone:
All residences have telephone service. There is no surcharge for local calls. Long-distance calls require a calling card or credit card.


Substitution:
Management strives to comply with all reservation requests for specific residences. However, due to changes in residence ownership, properties being removed from rental unforeseen mechanical malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances, we cannot guarantee a specific rental property. We reserve the right to change assignments without notice or liability. Guests will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate or receiving a complete refund of their reservation deposit.


Rates:
All rates are subject to change without notice.


Minimum Length of Stay:
Length of stay requirements vary depending on the property and season. Many properties require a 5-night stay during peak occupancy periods.


Online Reservations:
Online reservations can be made for nightly and weekly stays. All online reservations require, at a minimum, a 5-night stay. Online reservations will be confirmed via e-mail.



Interest Bearing Account:
Guest is hereby notified that all monies collected are placed into an interest bearing account in which the interest shall accrue to the benefit of Hodnett Cooper Real Estate, Inc.


Properties for Sale:
Occasionally, vacation residences are listed for sale. We will make every effort to schedule showings so as not to interrupt your vacation.

Parking:
Parking is limited. Allotment is decided on a first-come, first-served basis. If a community requires a parking permit, one will be included in the check-in packet. Many properties have restrictions for vans, trucks, campers, boat trailers, etc. For additional details, please contact us.


Grills:
Outdoor grilling is permitted only in designated areas. Grilling on decks, balconies, or screened porches is prohibited by law. Please use caution when grilling.


Pools & Hot Tubs:
Lifeguards are not provided. Guests are responsible for the safety of themselves, their children, and their guests. Pool and Hot Tub facilities are for the use of registered guests and property owners only. If identification tags are required for community pools, they will be included in the check-in packet. Diaper age children are required to wear swim diapers when using swimming pools. No discounts or refunds will be issued for pool or hot-tub malfunctions or closures.
