Oh My Gawd! Was the word most used as folks drove from the richest Square mile on earth "Central City" to the "Gate Way" called Georgetown. Your first impression as you enter our retreat may have you thinking this also.

Saxon Mountain Retreat is the “Renowned Place” for your family to stay while participating in a great wedding event at the Shadow’s Ranch Event Center.

Snowbirds who want to spend the week ski’ing Clear Creek, Summit or Grand Counties can not find a better central location. Get ahead of the Denver ski traffic by heading out from Georgetown to Loveland or A-Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Winter Park and Mary Jane are not far away.

While only a block away from Georgetown Lake you will feel nice and secluded and still be able to enjoy its many stores and restaurants. You can fish in the summer or ICE fish in the winter (ice house and auger on-site). The "Bar Stool Races" and "Jeep Races" on frozen Georgetown Lake are a time not to miss.

Saxon Mountain has an outstanding living area on the main level complete with a soothing water feature. The dining area has a large kitchen with supersize counter space, making it perfect for entertaining your family and friends.

Your Master bedroom (with queen bed) and master bath with a two-person jetted jacuzzi, provides a beautiful and private space to relax when you have had a cold day skiing, a old smoky train ride, or to celebrate the Wedding of the Century at Shadow’s Ranch.

Upstairs! Two bedrooms contain either a queen bed or a twins/king. Both have a convertible sofa for your children. These rooms share a full bath. And there is a computer desk work area with sitting area over looking the main room, and we do mean overlooking.

The 1300-Square-Foot “Great Room” walk out is a great area for entertainment with billiards and Television, plus a family sleeping area with a full and single bed.

Located on the back deck "outside under the stars" is a six-person hot tub with plenty of towels to go around, but bring your suits.

Historical areas abound close by with Casinos and Historical sites. The Indian Springs Hot Spring's pool, Gold and Silver mine tours or day drives up Guanella Pass and Mount Evans, all provide additional activities for your family that are unique and exciting.

A quick drive to Frisco provides snowmobile rentals for the winter and Sunset sailboat cruises on Lake Dillon in the summer. Jeep rentals are available in Silverplume and Frisco to help you explore the old roads,trails and mine's of the "Rush" days.

Full payment for lodging is due 30 days in advance
We are unable to contract to under 25. We do not rent for House parties.
