Bahama Sunset is a beautiful island home set on rugged cliffs overlooking the quiet Caribbean Ocean. Guests at Bahama Sunset have a view of the crystalline blue-green waters from every window, and Island nightlife includes watching the stunning sunsets glide into the ocean from the wrap-around deck that hangs over the cliffs while listening to an orchestra of crickets, frogs, egrets and the lapping of the ocean. You can walk down the stone cut steps and find excellent snorkeling, diving, swimming and sunning in your own private lagoon. Secluded pink and white powdery beaches are just minutes away. The natural timber ceilings and wood cabinetry are hand finished and lend even more warmth to this cozy romantic retreat.
Bahama Sunset is a one bedroom luxurious villa that sleeps two to four, has a sunny great room with incredible views, a wrap-around deck that hangs out over the 40 foot cliffs and The house comes complete with sheets and towels, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, toaster, refrigerator, etc. Other amenities include, a limestone grill, steps down to the water, water activities available, restaurants nearby. Our housekeeper will do general cleaning (not dishes) and wash linens after you leave. There are laundry facilities a few miles away in Gregory Town. Groceries can be bought in Gregory Town or Governors Harbour. The largest grocery store is in Governors Harbour. As Bahama Sunset is a quiet retreat, there is no phone or TV. We will give you an emergency contact number when you reservation is confirmed.
Eleuthera is a quiet, rural island and the nearby village, Gregory Town is a sleepy harbor full of warm Bahama natives. The night life includes an orchestra of crickets and the dance of the ocean in the lagoon. You'll find excellent snorkeling and diving a one minute walk down the stone cut steps that bring you to your own private lagoon.
Activities: Swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, cave exploring, sunning on numerous secluded pink and white powdery beaches, fishing, boating, shopping, eating, and visiting nearby Harbour Island. It is a place for adventure and discovering your own beaches, caves, etc. The island of Eleuthera is known for its great diving, secluded pink and white powdery beaches, unusual rock formations, caves, green forests, and rolling hills. The islands diversity provides many activities: Swimming, sunning, snorkeling, diving, hiking, biking, caving and don't forget relaxing.
Area: Bahama Sunset is conveniently located just 1 mile south of Gregory Town- one of the most charming towns on the island of Eleuthera and the house is near two airports: North Eleuthera (ELH) and Govornor’s Harbour (GHB). You can't beat the view and the amazing sunsets over the water. Bahama Sunset is an excellent, romantic location for a honeymoon or engagement location. From our deck, you can see directly to the bottom of the "lagoon" in your backyard. The water is crystal clear and swimmable all year.
Full payment is required to secure your reservation. Payment can be made via check or wire transfer.
We ask that all guests plan to leave the house by 10:00 am. Guests can expect check-in to be around 4:00 pm
Low Season (June 1 – Oct. 31) $200/nt. or $1050/wk.
High Season (Nov. 1 – May 30) $225/nt. or $1200/wk.
Plus a refundable $250 house deposit.
A week is 6 nights & 7 days, with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Certain holidays are an additional $50 per night. Some restrictions apply!
Valentines Weekend, Easter weekend, Memorial day weekend, July 4th weekend, Labor day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, the week of Christmas and New Years Weekend.
These rates are for 2 adults, if there are additional adults we require an additional $100 per person.
