An exclusive chalet and a cottage are situated on a two acre property in Noordhoek. Noordhoek is situated at the foot of Chapman's Peak and has a delightful village atmosphere; the ambience is tranquil and serene, with plenty of wide open spaces, a magnificent 7 kilometre stretch of unique beach and breathtaking scenery. Despite its country atmosphere, Noordhoek has a lot to offer, including restaurants, a shopping mall, horse-riding, whale watching, hiking trails, surfing, bird-watching, a game reserve, a seasonal art route, plus nearby golf courses, camel rides and a penguin colony.

Your chalet and cottage borders on Table Mountain National Park. A variety of hens, geese, guinea fowl and rabbits roam allover the property. It is a common occurrence to observe black eagles, hawks, owls and meerkats. You will also find yourself in the company of 5 miniature horses, a Great Dane, a poodle and a Daschund. There is a koi and goldfish pond, as well as a large duck pond. The property boasts an entirely indigenous garden incorporating a wide variety of protea species.
From here you have a genuine 270 degree sensational sweeping view of the mountains, the valley and the sea.

The Chalet
A wooden staircase leads to your luxurious chalet and private deck. The chalet consists of a lounge/dining-room with open-plan kitchen; main bedroom with king-size bed (or twin beds), built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet, basin, heated towel rail), a second bedroom with king-size bed (or twin beds) and bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). The kitchen is fully equiped (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery).
The following are supplied: hair dryer, linen, bath towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, coffee, tea, sugar, plus milk, fresh fruit and flowers on arrival.
There is full satellite TV with own decoders (more than 40 channels including BBC, SKY, CNN).

The Cottage
Secluded and intimate, with a private verandah and garden, this cottage consists of a lounge/open-plan fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with king-size bed (or twin beds), built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, basin, heated towel rail).
The following are supplied: hair dryer, linen, bath towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea, sugar, plus milk, fresh fruit and flowers on arrival.
There is full satellite TV with own decoders (more than 40 channels including BBC, SKY, CNN).

Entertainment Area
For the benefit of our guests there is an enclosed thatched entertainment area with a built-in braai (barbeque), fridge, hot trolley, microwave, mini-oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, hi-fi, snooker/billiards table, a variety of games (trivial pursuit, backgammon, chess, etc) and toilet facilities.

Guests also have the full use of our two pools; the main pool is solar heated.

There is also an artist's studio and gallery on the property. Guests are welcome to browse through the gallery.

Rental Policies

A deposit of 50% of the total amount is payable within 7 days of confirmation of the booking.
All amounts are nett of any bank transfer charges.

Rental Rates

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

The Chalet
In season
(1 Nov to 30 April) Minimum rate R600 per night for 2 guests.
Each additional guest (including children) pay R150 per night.
Children under 1 year - no charge
Regret no children 1 to 6 years

Out of season
(1 May to 31 Oct) Minimum rate R500 per night for 2 guests.
Each aAdditional guest (including children) pay R100 per night.
Children under 1 year - no charge
Regret no children 1 to 6 years

The Cottage
In season
(1 Nov to 30 April) R600 per night (maximum 2 adults)

Out of season
(1 May to 31 Oct) R500 per night (maximum 2 adults)


Minimum stay of 3 nights in the chalet and the cottage.


Servicing of the chalet and cottage.

The chalet and cottage is not serviced on a daily basis. It is serviced twice a week.
Bath and beach towels will be changed with every service.

Laundry:
Washing of laundry will be charged for by the load:
Full (or partial) machine load: R30

There is an iron and ironing board in your chalet and cottage.

(Servicing and laundry are not done on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays)


Check-in time: 3pm (unless previously arranged)

Check-out time: 11am


Cancellation policy

A deposit of 50% of the total amount is payable within 7 days of confirmation of the booking.

All amounts are nett of any bank transfer charges.

Cancellation of the booking affects the deposit as follows:

Over 30 days prior to your arrival date: 100% of the deposit is refundable.

30 days or less prior to your arrival date: the deposit is non-refundable.

7 days or less prior to your arrival date: the full amount of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.

(Refunds and waiver of cancellation are at the discretion of the management and depend on the ability to re-let the chalet or the cottage).


Smoking

This is a non-smoking establishment. For the (subsequent) comfort of other guests, we insist that our guests never smoke indoors. Due to strong local winds and dry landscapes we strongly request guests not to dispose of any cigarette remains elswhere than in ash trays.
