Clovelly Lodge is the perfect base to explore Cape Town, at the heart of the Table Mountain National Park. Breathe the fresh air of Cape Town’s green-belt with all the city’s attractions nearby. Kick back and relax in the privacy and independence of your own guest apartment, or take a room at the B&B; guest house where you can also indulge in a leisurely breakfast.

Guest apartments provide child-friendly 3-star accommodation just five mins walk from Fish Hoek/Clovelly beach. Alongside the warm waters and whales of False Bay with sweeping views of mountains, valley & sea.

Guest apartments are serviced twice a week with a weekly linen change. Some have wheelchair access and sea or mountain views, satellite TV and fully equipped kitchens. Daily servicing can be arranged. One bedroom apartments have showers, two bedroom units also have a bath.

Apartments have secure parking with automatic gates, a private deck with BBQ for eating al fresco, sipping sundowners or just lounging around in the sunshine. Enclosed grounds have a pool and laundry.

Clovelly Lodge is 20-30 mins drive from the city centre and 30-40 mins from the Airport.

We are happy to arrange car hire and/or airport shuttle. Credit cards welcome on short stays, otherwise payment is by bank transfer.

ACTIVITIES
The Winelands, Cape Point, Waterfront, 2010 Soccer Stadium, Robben Island, Boulders penguins, Chapman’s Peak, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are a 20-30 minute drive. The famous restaurants and bars of trendy Kalk Bay fishing village are round the corner.

Nearby beaches of white sand and calm tidal pools offer some of Cape Town’s best swimming. Horse-riding, hiking, rock-climbing and caving, surfing, whale-watching, scuba and shark-diving, fishing and outstanding scenic drives can all be enjoyed in the local area.

Clovelly golfcourse is just next door - Simon's Town, Westlake and Steenberg golfcourses are just 10 minutes drive.

Fish Hoek train station has a regular service into central Cape Town.

Rental Policy

One bedroom units sleep 2 to 4 (extra charge applies to the 3rd and 4th person). Two bedroom apartments sleep 4-6 people (again, prices are based on 4 people and a charge applies for extras). Breakages must be advised and paid for. Please note - smokers are welcome to smoke outside the building with due consideration for other guests on the property.

Arrival Times

Check in after 3.00, check out by 11am.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

The rates provided are based on 4 people sharing a two bedroom apartment and are per person per day. Rates are valid to end Sept 2013. Please enquire about our rates on a one or three bedroom apartment.

A 50% deposit is payable to confirm a reservation. The balance on high season self-catering bookings is due one month ahead of arrival (or on booking if less than one month before occupation). A breakage deposit of R1000 to R2500 is payable on arrival for self-catering apartments. Payment on self-catering bookings of more than three days should be paid by inter-bank transfer. Other bookings may be settled by credit card, if preferred.

Minimum stays apply as follows: low season (May-Sept) 2 days, high season (Oct-April) 3 days except 15 Dec to 14 Jan when it's 10 days.

Cancellation Policy (Self-Catering):
Cancellations less than one month ahead of the arrival date are liable for 100% of the booking value.
Cancellations one to two months ahead of the arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit amount.
Cancellations made within one month of arrival may be reimbursed in part for those days taken up by new bookings (at the discretion of the management), but otherwise forfeit the whole amount.
Shortened stays and no shows are payable in full.
