A traditional French village house located on a plateau between the Dordogne and the Auvergne, comprising ground floor cellar/cave with the living accommodation on the first and second floors. The area is surrounded by meadows and woodland.
The village house is built of local granite and heated by a wood burner with supplementary electric heaters.
The spacious living room features comfortable lounge furniture plus a large oak dining table and seating. A French dresser contains ample glassware and china.
A well equipped kitching include gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, micro wave oven and dishwasher etc.
There are four bedrooms. Two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. One double bedroom is on the first floor and all other bedrooms are on the second floor. The rear bedrooms provide spectacular views of the meadows. A cot for a baby/toddler is provided. All bedrooms have convector heaters. One of the double bedrooms has a washbasin and the single bedroom has a shower.
Thw south western garden is sheltered and benefits from ample sunshine. There is a vine covered terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. It is a pleasant place enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine and good company in the evening sunshine.
The countryside around Darazac is an area of great natural beauty and much attractive wildlife, perfect for walking, horse riding, cycling, canoeing, fishing, swimming, sailing, skiing or just relaxing.
