Les Conifères is a recently renovated farmhouse, set in a peaceful Vendee farming hamlet, between Fontenay le Comte and Niort, providing a Holiday Cottage equipped for 2 to 4 persons, as well as friendly and welcoming Bed and Breakfast accommodation, with three ensuite rooms.

The Vendée is renowned for it's climate, being the second sunniest area of France after the Mediterranean coast.

Our property is set in the tiny hamlet of Chantegros, which is conveniently located only 15 mins from the A83 motor way, 3k from the village of St Hilaire des Loges, 2k from the bustling small market town of Coulonges sur l'Autize, and close to the historical towns of Fontenay le Comte and Niort, set as we are, on the edge of both the Pays de la Loire & Poitou Charentes regions.

The beautiful Forest of Mervent-Vouvant is only 10 minutes away, and an easy 50 minute journey will take you to the Atlantic coast at La Rochelle. The tranquil waterways of the Venise Verte or Marais Poitevin, are close by, and the theme park of Futuroscope, near Poitiers is only an hour away. Several Golf Courses lie within 30 - 60 mins drive.

Rental Policy

No breakage deposit requested as most of our renters are careful and honest, but significant damage or cleaning will be charged for at the end of your stay.
