Rundle's Mission is a retreat center on the shores of Pigeon Lake that is designed for group functions from 10 to 100 people. We are a designated Alberta historic site , group accomodation facility, and education center. Open year round.
Rundles Mission Memorial Lodge sleeps 25 people in bunk beds with two shared bathrooms…one men’s (disabled access) and one women’s (1 shower, 2 toilets, 3 sinks). Downstairs is the catering kitchen and dining area with a fireplace. Upstairs is a natural log meeting room/games area overlooking Pigeon Lake. This room is multi-purpose and has been used for weddings, seminars, retreats, family functions. There is a fireplace, couches, tables and an electric organ. You may have 60 people upstairs and 60 downstairs. There are tables, chairs, dishware, cooking utensils, two large gas stoves, two fridges and one freezer for your convenience. You may do your own cooking or contact our caterer. All facilities are centrally heated – no ”roughing it” necessary. The Lodge rents for $275.00 per night.
The 2 Bungalow Houses are both located steps from the Lodge. They each sleep 11 people and have a fully equipped kitchen and living room. Each room has two twin beds and a private bathroom. Centrally heated. The houses rent for $225.00 per night on Fri/Sat and holidays and $175.00 per night Sun-Thurs.
RV's/Camping -there are 10 sites available with power an option. Tenting is unlimited. RV sites are $15 per night, $20 with power. Tents are $10 per night
Firewood –You may bring your own firewood or purchase bundles on site for $5 each. There are fire-pits outside the houses and lodge.
Catering - you may choose to do your own cooking or hire a caterer. There are several caterers in the area. The office can provide you with names and numbers
Check in time is 5:00 p.m. and check out is 2:00 p.m.
Booking our facilities is on a first come first serve basis. Your booking is confirmed once a 50% deposit is received. We also require a damage deposit to be kept on file until after your booking. Cancellation policy is 90 days prior to booking you forfeit your 50% deposit.
Part of the rental requires your group to tidy and clean the facility after you rental. (take out garbage, wash and put away dishes, sweep and vacuum and clean bathrooms)
Linen service is an optional service. The charge of $7.00 per person over and above your facility fee will be applied. Please indicate if you wish to take advantage of this service prior to your arrival.
Activities in the area include ice fishing, hiking and cross country skiing on our 220 acres of Nature Reserve, interpretive boardwalk depicting the history of Rundles Mission, large grassy areas for games, igloo building, campfires and group gatherings. Close by are 5 golf courses, swimming beaches, shopping (15 minutes) and area special events. Sleigh rides and dog sledding can be arranged with ample prior notice. All activities costs are the responsibility of the renters.

Bookings are taken on a first come first serve basis. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your dates. Cancellations may be made up to 90 days prior to booking. After such date the deposit is forfeited. A small admin fee will be applied to all cancellations.
