This authentic 1840's A Cabin On the Hill is located near Marietta, Ohio. You will enjoy the privacy of
90 acres, picnicking, or warming up next to a cozy fireplace. You can tell stories at the outdoor fire pit while tending to your cooking on a campfire. The huge porch allows you to enjoy the sounds of
nature while reading your newspaper on an early Sunday morning. You can indulge yourself and
escape reality by a soaking in an original claw foot cast iron tub.

Hiking on hilly trails offer families or couples plenty of exercise as they bond in the peaceful
surroundings next to Wayne National Forest.

A Cabin On the Hill is a place to relax, wade in the water, get romantic, play horseshoes, read, hike,
and smell the flowers. It's a great place to play with the kids and your dog! (Outside dogs only,
please) It is also perfect for hunters, fisherman stories, photographers, writers, horseback riders, historians, and naturalists. There is no need to rough it, since satellite TV, DVD, hairdryer, quality coffee and herb tea, and a full gourmet kitchen (to test your cooking skills) is part of the package. However, there is plenty of space to pitch a tent if you so choose. There is no Internet service for a reason. It's for those who want to get away from big cities and bond with your friends,
kids, and partners. Located on 90 secluded acres and sleeping up to 8, the cabin is also ideal for small corporate
retreats.

The bedrooms have two queen beds in one room.......and two twin beds in the other bedroom. There is also a futon and a cot for those extras

The cabin is located within 2 1/2 hours of class IV whitewater rafting at breathtaking views of the New River Gorge near Charleston, West Virginia. It's a place to relax, wade in the water, romance, play horseshoes, read, hike, and smell the
flowers, play with the kids and dog!.

Nearby Marietta, known for antiques, history of settlers, boutiques, steamboats, and restaurants, is the first Ohio settlement in the Northwest Territory.
It is located a little over 2 hours southeast of Columbus, Ohio and 2 hours from Pittsburgh, PA. Marietta offers fine dining and shops.
